Looking for brunch on a weekday and we settled for LeNu,which I think is a good meal to start the day.

Ordered the pork chop with preserved vegetable noodles,as well as braised pork rib. Also, topped up to set meals to get additional sides (bamboo shoots and black fungus)and drinks.

Like how the pork chop is given in a separate plate so that they won’t turn soggy in the soup. It would be better if the preserved vegetable taste is stronger but overall still satisfying. Happy tum tum :)

Braised wagyu beef lamian. It’s good but quite salty towards the end. I won’t drink too much of the soup. Their century egg tofu served chilled is refreshing!

Family likes LeNu: where we get a variety of soupy Noods that suits the palate.

🍴 Braised Beef Combi ($15.90) which includes my fave wagyu chunks, marbled beef, tendon... Accidentally ordered this, but i guess we deserve a treat from time to time! The variety of beef + fragrant 红烧 soup is good, though hard to match Dintaifung's

🍴 Braised Pork Rib Noodles ($9.90) was alright with its tender pork ribs

🍴 Garoupa Pickled Veggie ($13.50), this dish exceeded our expectations as its not salty, and the garoupa fillet is generous + soft.

We topped up for a set to get a drink + chilled black fungus for $3.20. Pretty worth honestly.

I was expecting a more flavorful beef noodles but it wasn’t that case. But it wasn’t too bad but nothing special. Decent portion and beef was tender. We top up additional $3+ for a side dish and drink so it’s quite value for money. Will probably try the pork noodles next time.

📍lenu; singapore📍braised marbled beef noodle & crispy chicken cutlet noodles • lenu had always smelled better than it tasted. everytime we walk past the store, we would be attracted by the smell but as usual the noodles tasted a lot more mediocre than imagined. the beef slices in the noodles were flavorful and soft but there was nothing special about the soup and noodles. similarly for the chicken cutlet, the meat tasted good while the noodles failed to perform. probably would get attracted by the smell again the next time we walk past, but most likely not going back in 😞

Simple joy of having beef noodles came from this bowl of Braised Marbled Beef Noodle (S$10.90), and the best taste for me would be made of authentic braised beef broth and La Mian, with slices of beef lined up on top. Much as the actual serving looked quite different from the menu (because they gave a very generous portion of broth), it was the taste that mattered more.

Another point to note was that the braised beef broth would usually be on the salty side, so either you sip the soup with the floating bits of pickled vegetables, or you order a drink to quench the thirst from the food itself.
