LiHO has brought back its fan favourite coconut series, AND has introduced two new drinks: Lychee Rose Coconut Slush and Snow Mountain Double Chocolate Milk! Plus, myLiHOTEA members can enjoy a Buy 2 Get Free 1 deal everyday! I got to try their new creations, and here are my thoughts.

🌹Lychee Rose Coconut Slush
This drink comes with coconut noodles within, and unlike the other drinks that are creamy and thick, this one is liquidy and translucent. I got this at 50% sugar, of which I found it too sweet. It had a nice fruitiness and a strong lychee rose flavour, but I would definitely recommend getting a lower sugar level due to the sweetness. It’s more suitable for those who enjoy coconut water, I feel!

🍫 Snow Mountain Double Chocolate Milk
As the name states, this drink contains chocolate milk, while the snow mountain aspect refers to the whipped cream on top. The chocolate milk is super rich and chocolatey, more so than store-bought chocolate milk.

v refreshing but can be quite sweet even at 0%🥥 coconut noodles were such a great addition!!

also got to try the snow mountain choc milk that i alw wanted to! even creamier w double choc now🍫🍫

Fresh strawberries are flown in from Korea EVERY 3 DAYS so you can rest assured that your drinks are only made with the freshest👌🏼

Another drink back by popular demand is the v fragrant ice blended 𝐊-𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐖𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐘𝐔𝐀𝐍 ($𝟕.𝟑𝟎)🌿🧋

Newly offered this year is the 𝐊-𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐖𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐔𝐓 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐊𝐄 ($𝟕.𝟑𝟎)! Even though some may prefer a stronger coconut fragrance, I appreciated its lightness as it made the drink less cloying🥥🥥

If you don’t already know, LiHO has launched their Sunny Side Up drinks series (available till 2nd May 2021) which features drinks with Sunny Side Up Egg topping that’s made of sweet meringue! Before you think this is one of those gimmicky stunts that’s just for the gram, I would say the ‘egg’ does add an additional dimension of texture and flavour to the drinks, and it can even be enjoyed on its own as a snack as well!

~Blueberry Eggy Da Hong Pao (my favourite)
~Strawberry Eggy Green Tea
~Lychee Oreo Eggy Latte

If you prefer to have the ‘egg’ topping with your other preferred choice of drinks, you can too! Simply purchase the topping ($1.50) separately and add it onto your choice of drink! The Sunny Side Up drinks series are only available at selected LiHO outlets, do check their page for more details.

Loads of blended fresh strawberries . Though the price is steep, this is my 2nd time getting it! It’s so refreshing yet not overly sweet. There’s no sugar level option for this drink as I think it’s naturally sweetened by they strawberries. Tried to order it without ice and the staff said it would just taste like plain milk and strawberry which I don’t understand

Made from freshly flown Korean strawberries, the drink was really refreshing with a hint of mint and chunky strawberry bits. A tad pricey, but I used up my remaining #grabpay credits!

0% sugar since the pearls are already sweet. Enjoyed the layers of brown sugar, milk and matcha flavours.

Have you tried this drink? Perhaps just try it once just for their novelty. It’s kinda weird for me but I finished it nevertheless😂.

Enjoyed the chewy brown sugar pearls with fresh milk. The avocado added another dimension of creaminess to the drink. 👍

Lucky girl here got chosen as one of the lucky winner to attend LiHO event at their Bugis+ branch. During the event, they are promoting two of their newest drink; Salted Egg Lava Fresh Milk and Brown Sugar Lava Fresh Milk.

Quite an innovating drink, but the salted egg is harden after a while and is hard to stir and mix into the milk. The brown sugar one is not too bad though, love their chewy pearl!

Riding on the persistent salted egg craze, the newest addition to Liho's Brown Sugar Pearl series is none other than their Golden Lava Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk ($4.90/M, $5.90/L). Exactly like those enveloped in a fluffy soft custard bun, the thick and warm lava was more sweet than savoury. Balanced with a creamy flush of cold fresh milk and chewy slow-cooked brown sugar pearls, the taste was not bad though the overall textural combination was intriguing to say the least. A confusing blend, the salted egg lava and milk couldn’t completely mix, leaving slight salty lumps in the cup. But I can certainly see, salted egg fans enjoying it.

And for those like me who want to keep it safe, get your hands on the latest Salted Caramel Lava Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk ($3.90/M, $4.90/L), which was launched just yesterday at 15 exclusive outlets.

This is @lihosg’s version - which is not bad, a good before sleep drink (especially when even milk tea affects you) with a good source of calcium 🤣! Have you tried it?

Delighting us with 3 new flavours, Liho’s exisiting Brown Sugar Pearl Series sees the addition of Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk Matcha, Avocado and Chocolate!

Be it sipping straight from the straw or after some good shaking, LiHo's latest Brown Sugar Pearl series offers sweet satisfaction with their slow-cooked brown sugar pearls. Infusing them with a distinct caramel flavour and fragrance, the chewy warm tapioca pearls is balanced with the creamy flush of cold fresh milk so you get that lovely hot and cold contrast.

Launched during the Michelin Guide Street Food Festival in April, the upgraded version of the Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk, Brown Sugar Pearls Fresh Milk Party was also well-received and comes very much like a dessert in a cup. Topped with peanuts, oreo cookie crumbs, caramelized biscuit and creamy cheese foam; the layered treat had a nice depth and great textures which really enhanced the chewiness of their signature pearls.

And with plans to expand the series next month in June, keep your eyes peeled for new intriguing pairings of their warm chewy pearls.

🥤Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk-$3.60 (Really fond of the richness of this cuppa drink) Try out alrights! Let me know how you feel!!:)

Coming to bugis+ (Monday)and other selected outlets, it was a pleasant surprise to see the flaming cheese debut at the Michelin guide street food festival.

Avocado shake was slightly too sweet and icy(it's pre mixed so u don't get to choose the sweetness level) but otherwise it was still quite enjoyable. The bruleed honey on top added a nice sugary smokiness to the drink though, which pairs with the sweet avocado mix really well

Many thanks to Michelin Guide Singapore for the gracious hosting and @burpple for the invite!

$2 honey green tea with 50cents top-up for double topping of pudding and pearls. But why #lihosg so inflexible.. Rejected my request to have more pudding when i didnt want pearls. Ohwell. #burpple #burpplesg
