The pasta was still too undercooked this round. Less sauce given but the amount of ingredients was pretty worth it about 3 or more pieces each of prawns, mussels and sotong rings.
Careful when chewing on the fleshy squid rings- the lining can be difficult to sever and may become a choking hazard if you didn’t choose to cut them up before swallowing the ring whole.
Mm the rosti was crispy and paired well with the light sour cream! Hearty for sure, and chicken cheese sausage was not bad although it's kinda ex overall.
Pretty much a classic that's been here for years!
I'm generally ok with cinnamon, altho there's certain brands/ taste of cinnamon powder that I'm not particularly a fan of, and this is one of them 😆. But prob a personal preference thing
Of course, you can't skip the Rosti when you're at @marchesingapore, but I got drawn to them when I walked past their @313somerset outlet w/ "Buy 2 get 1 Free" Promo, and got 3 Pastries for $11 ($3.66 each).
Bread Pudding (U.P. $7.50)
I'm a huge fan of bread pudding, and it's so rare to find shops selling them in Sg! I kinda liked the eggy custard bottom layer, and it's pretty decently priced for the size of this bread pudding. Looked a little dry inside but it was still okay with the cream pairing! Nothing amazing but definitely satisfied my cravings 🤭.

Been a few years since we patronized Marche and glad to say that the popular rosti is still the standard we remember.
Perfectly fried to have crispy top and bottom, and fluffy soft potato strips. Paired with luscious sour cream and spring onion (latter is available at the self-serve counter). The smoked salmon is a pricey top up but generous portion of 4 big slices. Chewy and tender, and well-marinated with fragrant dill that added an enjoyable herbaceous finish to the potato.
We also added on a perfectly fried egg ($1.90) with an oozy center yolk and lightly crisp white edges for a more complete and creamy meal.
