Fueled by charcoal instead of a typical gas stove, everything else here was pretty standard. I wished there was a variety of sauce to go along with my cooked food.

This set for 2 people (basket of vegetables not pictured) is available on Burpple Beyond 1 for 1! The Katong outlet uses charcoal instead of the usual gas, worth a try! 😋

Frequented almost all the outlets of this mookata shop. I like their marinated pork belly and pork collar. The introduction of buffer menu makes it even more worth it. The bugis branch doesn’t serve the charcoal pot, although the taste is still the same.

Used Burpple Beyond (Sets deal). Original price for Set for 2 is $34.90. Ingredients were fresh and meat was of pretty good quality.

Always tempted to try whenever I passed by this street. The BBQ aroma is simply too seductive. Feeling full of guilt while placing the chunky pork lard to grease on bbq pan. The dome-shaped bbq pan can't really hold ingredients especially seafood. Most of my prawns, squid, crabsticks, pork lard simply fell into the soup broth. I've enjoyed the tasty marinated chicken thigh, the rest was standard. I shall order ala carte if I were to make my next visit. .

The Mookata Thai BBQ restaurant located at East Coast road and at the opposite of Katong 112. It’s been long-awaited to try out this restaurant, since my husband not a fan of Thai mookata. After a few attempts at convincing him, finally we went there for lunch.

Must say their meat grade is low even though their mookata set only $39.90 we ended up paying $58 for ordering extra pork belly and drink.

The most memorable one is the chili and Thai Milk Tea.

Located at 103 East Coast Rd, Singapore 428757. It’s been a long time since we last had Mookata! This place is always swarmed with long Q during meals time and we were lucky to arrive slightly just before meal time today! You will be spoilt for choices here as they have sets for 2 and also ala-carte dishes too! We ordered a few ala-carte and they all taste pretty good! Tom Yam Pork Collar (S) $8.50, Sliced Beef (S) $12, Otha fish cake, veg, mushroom, drink and it totals to about $43 for 2 pax. Pretty big portion and worth the money! The food were all well marinated and it was delicious! #hungryunicornsg #mookata #mookatasg #mookatathaibbq #thaimookata

My first mookata experience was ok I guess? Would habitually stick to Korean BBQ though for lettuce meat wraps with 고추장 are simply unbeatable. Also maybe because the meat cuts here weren't stellar? And I couldn't get used to my meat falling off the spherical BBQ center into the surrounding soup base.
While the seasoned chicken thigh was tasty, I initially couldn't get pass the cardboard-like slices of beef. Thankfully submerging the red meat into either one of restaurant's 3 level spicy sauces made everything alright 😬

😍😍 The nirvana 🙏 that i experience each and every blissful time i visit has always had me coming back for more!! 😍😍 You get me drooling every single time!! I am who i am beacuse of you.. I vow that you will always be my first option. I will always love you, Food. ❤ #burpple

Be prepared to queue with eastsiders before snagging a table at Mookata, especially for weekend dinners. In addition to their popular set meals and platters (from S$34.90 for two), there is also a premium selection to be had: think wagyu beef, kurobuta pork and black angus beef. Pork lovers will love the highly raved pork collar; the good dose of fats in the well-marbled slices results in a succulent and flavourful porcine delight. Opt for either the piquant tom yum soup base or the lighter pork broth and adjust the spiciness with chilli sauces available in three different levels of heat. There’s a good exhaust system in place so no worries about smelling like a walking BBQ afterwards!

The chili there is awesome, Thai ice tea is great! Not a bad experience!=))

The well-marinated meats hiss and sizzle… yums…Especially the marbled pork collar, it roasts gently on the grill for that meltingly succulent texture. Here's a photo of pork collar. Read more: http://www.misstamchiak.com/mookata-east-coast-road/

Good meat, value for money! Pretty bad first experience I had but will go again! If only if it wasn't that warm.....

Mookata Traditional Thai BBQ is one of my go-to places whenever I crave for grilled meats as the stove is fuelled by charcoal. To me, there is always something magical about meats cooked using charcoal fire. The smoky aroma of the beautifully charred meats is simply irresistible!

eating mookata in comfort! a tad pricey but their meat/soup stock were super tasty!

Speaking of orientalism, you may also consider spicing up your night with some tom yum chicken and pork. The best part about this already delicious Thai-styled BBQ? You can safely indulge in your meal, as Mookata’s dedicated exhaust system will prevent you from smelling like one of its delicacies.
