This took damn long to come, and there was barely a full strip of beef. It's literally bits and pieces of beef. They made another one for us, which took a long time again (they promised 10mins but it wasn't 10mins lol) with extra beef apparently, and the beef portion was still utterly pathetic.
Furthermore, the okonomiyaki itself sucked. Way too soft, too much batter, not crispy enough at the top.
If for whatever reason you must visit this place, please make sure u reserve inside seats. It's bloody hot outside and the wait is painful if you don't see that they're making your food
Extremely good. The cheese is well charred, with crispy bits near the edge. The mentaiko comes thru as umami, and there's a creaminess about the topping that's very good without being jelat. Tofu was the perfect background for such an indulgent sauce and it's not overly hot
If you're already here, this is a must try
Very average. There wasn't even much beef tendons, small bits of beef brisket?
We had a terrible time here. The staff forgot to lock in the order so we waited for 2h. Then the food took very long to come, and it was not up to par and was sent back. Then we waited another 20mins. In total the meal took 2hours holy sh
Choice of one tiny starter per pax.
Very very soft, with fish umami coming thru. Pretty decent

Served on a hot plate, the squid was served hot and beautifully seared. Unfortunately the dish tasted very fishy, which was too much for me.
This was new. Unlike the usual modenyaki and okonomiyaki, monjyayaki is something uncommon to our local market. And this dish is as pretty as it can get — it’s served as a wet, flat sizzling mess.
Taste-wise was very lackluster to me. The charred ends were amazing, but the wet mixture fell short of expectations. It was underwhelming, almost like eating an undercooked pancake.
Beef pizza — other than the pork belly w egg noodles okonomiyaki, we got the beef pizza as well. The chef very thoughtfully grilled the beef separately before topping it on the mix to ensure that the meat does not get overdone.
After what seems like forever, (it smells sooo good) the wait rendered a crisp top and cooked center. The medley of ingredients complemented each other so much. This was my fav!
What an experience!
This place came as an alternative when we found out that Seiwaa was closed on Sundays — popped by this restaurant to celebrate my mum’s birthday with something different from the usual menu at home.
We ordered the pork belly with egg noodles “pizza”. If you like (or have no experience), do ask the service staff to help you. There were no instructions provided and my family wasn’t too adventurous then, so we got the kitchen staff to cook for us.
This was my mum’s favorite, but it was a little mushy for my liking due to the noodles inside.
The key to having a great okonomiyaki here is to be patient. For our first okonomiyaki, we kept hurrying the staff to flip and kept asking if it was ready, so it turned out less crispy than expected. The popular one is the one with buta. The appetizers were quite amazing too, loved the potato salad😍😍, the mentaiko tofu and crispy burdock. Left with a smoky head but happy belly.
First for me to see this cooked right at a teppanyaki style hot slab right in the middle of my table. It's still not as good as what I had in Osaka but a good experience nonetheless.
Nope!! It's actually a #grilled #eggplant!
It's so #tasty probably a person who doesn't like eggplants would like this.

The wetter version of the more common okonomoyaki. One of the few restaurant serving this. Definitely a place to relive the yummy monjayaki we had in Japan!
Not the usual okonomiyaki that you know. In fact, this monjyayaki is pretty rare and I don't really know anywhere else that sells it, let alone let you cook it yourself. It's a wetter, stickier version of the okonomiyaki. While okonomiyaki is pancake like, this is almost akin to eating a cabbage-based stew/gravy. Not the best description, but trust me it was pretty good. The best part is when it crisps up after cooking on the hot pan for a while. Worth trying this relatively unheard of Japanese dish!
Most of us should be pretty acquainted with this Japanese dish. It is what many would regard as a variation of the takoyaki balls we are familiar with, but in pancake form. The batter is mostly made of cabbage, and you can choose the special ingredients you want, be it pork belly, prawns and so on. Most interestingly, you get a chance to cook it yourself at this place. I would say it was quite the experience, and if you want to have a hand at trying cooking your own Okonomiyaki, this place is pretty affordable.
