Overpriced salad, think I paid almost RM30 for this. Just a couple of leafy green, and a small small portion of each selected ingredients. One plus side was that protein was generous. Oh, blue cheese dressing was pretty tasty too.

1. This (Adult salad) is bigger than Baby salad but smaller than the monster salad. Portion lets you binge eat the greens.
2. For Rm19 you get the mixed lettuce base, 6 mains and 2 supplementary.
3. Definitely choose the eggplant for your supplementary.
4. You get 2 from the wide variety of salad dressings to choose from. My personal recommendation is goddess greens and honey balsamic.
5. I absolutely felt like I was eating a vegetable farm.

Dharma Realm Guan Yin Monastery sports a canteen in the back, a discreet temple eatery that sets the bar for a solid vegetarian lunch in the city. The Buddhist cooks here are steeped in years of kitchen experience, all while adhering to a strict practice of cooking without white sugar, MSG and preservatives. Join the rest of Jalan Ampang in line for a meal that's both easy on your waistline and your wallet. Variety is what to come for — the zhap fan counter sees over 50 vegetarian dishes on offer, from simple stir-fried eggplant to neat squares of braised tofu and tasty fried beancurd skin in many forms. A rice or noodle lunch plate piled on with two to three dishes should cost about RM5-8 depending on portion. There is also a stunning amount of delicious mock meats in the mix, but we'll advise you help yourselves to those sparingly lest your carb intake shoots through the roof. If it's a Friday, skip out zhap fan for the day's special fragrant Lei Cha (RM5). For dessert, grab a pack of freshly cut fruit or a sweet-sticky Red Bean Pancake (RM3) to take back to the office!
Avg price per person: RM10

This Buddhist temple’s canteen in the heart of KL will keep both your tummy and pockets full with their vegetarian buffet-style food. At Dharma Monastery, you can get a quick hearty meal of rice or noodles of the day (I got bihun), topped with your choice of veggies and tofus (brinjal and okra are my faveeee) and a drink for less than RM10 a meal. Total score!

.Was confused at first on what is what, but eventually able to get my "sandwich" done: salmon with sides such as capsicum, grapefruits, quinoa, sesames, roasted mushroom etc. .
.
The concept is pretty much similar to Subway, except that they have some fancy name for the "sides" and "mains". .
.
It doesn't come cheap to eat "healthily", and the taste is much depending on how smart (or lucky) you choose the combo you like/ want (mine was flooded with juice coming from grapefruits😨)
.
For those who wish to have bigger/ smaller portion, they offer "Monster-wich " and "Baby-wich ", that costs RM21+ and RM14+ respectively.

On a rainy evening, I do need some spices and comfort food to lift me up and the Asian in me would definitely want a plate of Nasi Lemak. Simple Life's Nasi Lemak is made with coconut oil with 10 grain rice. I love the pumpkin and tempeh(fermented soy beans) "rendang" that comes with it. Not to mention the food here is organic, msg free. Although the soup was over season, I would give this dish overall 7/10. RM20.90 per plate.

For a healthy lunch in Avenue K, search the Concourse for La Juiceria’s new outpost. Admittedly, I like my healthy food not so healthy. Enter the Bangkok Salad (RM17.90). Featuring a delicious Thai red curry dressing with grilled chicken thigh and a bed of greens, this is the meal to order! I for one, wiped the plate clean feeling a little less guilty than I would elsewhere. Also found the addition of broccoli a crunchy pleasure!

It can be pretty stressful for working men and women to decide where to eat during their hour lunch break, let alone worry about their diet, but those who are working around KLCC don't have to worry anymore!! Simple Life is located in the KLCC food court, but it's pretty easy to miss since it's a small kiosk. However the small workplace doesn't stop them from serving delicious healthy meals.
