I respected this heritage stall. But this was overboard. $6 for just beef rendang and bergedil. And nothing was good, everything was bland.

Decent prawn mee, very generous with the clams. I’d say it’s a good halal rendition. This was $6!

$7 for this really generous yummy bowl of prawn mee and clams! Don’t think it’s been easy finding halal prawn mee in Singapore, so I’m always excited to have this. Really worth the price for the fresh ingredients used, generous portions and really flavourful broth.

I tried both dry and soup, and my personal preference, soup is better than dry
The soup was sweet even though they don't use pork at all, but its too light and not flavourful enough for my liking.
Served with 3 fresh prawns and slice fishcakes.

We had Bak Kut Teh & Prawn Noodle with Clam.

The bak kut teh lamb meat was so tender. Delicious more on the sweet side.

The prawn noodle clam feels so clean and chewy. Nice.

From Deanna’s Kitchen
Awesome bowl of soup noodles.
Succulent crayfish & prawn, flavourful soup, sliced fish cake.
Really enjoyed it a lot.
Feast.

Probably the best Nasi Padang in Toa Payoh šŸ˜Ž very homely taste, beef rendang was flavourful, loved how the dish was drizzled with different curries (lighter ones for the veg, heavier ones for the meat). Nothing much to go into the details about, but very very satisfying.

The vegetables are cooked through so it is very soft, so it is good that the curry gravy is milder than the other dishes' gravy to complement the the veges. Very healthy-tasting though obviously it isn't. šŸ˜

WOW. This has become my favourite beef rendang of all-time. The beef is sooo tender and rendang so lemak. I could eat this all day.

I honestly couldn’t tell that there wasn’t any pork in this broth or that this was halal! A couple of prawns and a copious amount of clams, this was definitely an enjoyable bowl that’s worth the slightly steep price tag.
