Although this stall is not located at the actual S-11, but it is within the same blok at another coffee shop all the way till the end at the corner under Kou Wei Eating House.
Some of you may hear some news about this stall called the Cuppage Fried Guo Tiao recently as the owner retired. Thankfully the owner found someone to continue the legacy at this coffee shop.
Wok hey taste of fried kway teow to savour during lunch time with fish cake and cockles.
Found this stall at this coffee shop that sell decent dung gui herbal roasted duck, which tasted succulent with herbs.

Meals at unearthly hours just somehow taste 100 times better. Maybe, cause due to the limited option of food lah.π€£ If I recall, I had this delicious Kway Chap Braised Set Meal($5.50) at 1am plus plus.
It was a whooping tastisfying meal at that hour. Large silky thin sheet of Kway in a bowl of light herbal soup with hint of bean sprout aftertaste.
Together with a plate of deep & savoury braised pork belly, pig skin, pig intestine, fried beancurd, tofu and egg to complete the glorious set and satisfy the hunger.
I like how the intestine were clean properly with no funky taste and the slippery soft pig skin. Pork belly were fatty too.
The chilli here was more of sourish than spicy.

π Spicy Laksa Ramen
πMr Ramen
π K88 Kopitiam @ Chinatown (@k88kopitiam)
π° $7.90
When I ordered this, I was fully expecting to be served a bowl of typical laksa but no, this is ACTUALLY laksa ramen.
The laksa broth is really thick with a strong coconut milk fragrance, so good. The noodles are ramen noodles and theyre stretchy and chewy. Theres also an egg and cha siu to complete it.
For the price I think I'd rather get a normal bowl of laksa but this is seriously great.

K88 Coffee House beside the Chinatown Complex has recently revamped their space, and also completely changed their food stalls selection as well.
One of the new stall would be this ramen stall, serving ramen and rice bowl.
I want something strong so I gotten this spicy laksa. The laksa tasted spicy and addictive, as they used laksa paste and coconut milk; with some special ingredients added.
Sadly the ramen egg was a bit sour when I eat it.
My mom and I visited this Singapore Coffee Museum to have our breakfast on 28 September 2022.
There were 3 staff near the cashier. While placing our order, my mom asked the staff beside the cashier whether they have mee siam.
The staff told us to look at the menu affixed to the wall. The area was dimly lit and my mom asked the question again. The same staff said something along the lines of, "Refer to the menu and order what you like." Meanwhile, the staff at the cashier looked on and listened to our conversation.
Let's assume for a moment that my mom is illiterate, so lighting is immaterial to my feedback. My mom then placed her order of Mee Siam with the cashier and the cashier finally said, "We do not have Mee Siam here." Why didn't she say this when asked repeatedly at first?
"I thought you said there is Mee Siam?" replied my mom to the staff who told her that.
"I DID NOT SAY THAT WE HAVE MEE SIAM, I told you to LOOK at the menu!" defended the staff.
At the same time, I was having a conversation with the cashier asking whether there were customers on the second floor. If there wasn't, I would not trouble them to open up the level just for us.
To my disbelief, the cashier said, "We (3 of them near the cashier) don't know because we are not in charge of the second floor. We are only in charge of the first floor."
I was speechless for a while. Why didn't you say that you will check and let me know? Is your Manager aware that this is your attitude?
I asked the same question again and explained my rationale. I did not get a response until after completing my order.
One of the three staff must have gone up to check. She came back and kindly told me that there were 2 other people upstairs.
Wow your staff are truly, unbelievably and extremely rude. I hope the Founder is aware of how your staff behave. It is unacceptable!
A minced meat noodle stall managed by young hawkers, and expect some interesting items on the menu as well.
After started their first outlet in Tampines, they have finally opened their second outlet in Chinatown; at a coffee shop along Temple Street.
Was in for a rush meal so I go with the normal minced meat noodles, which comes with meatballs, fishball, minced meat and meat slices. The noodle has mix of vinegar and chili.
As for the soup provided, it taste very different from the usual one. They used pork bones and seafood in the stock, so you could taste some sweetness complementing with savoury as well.
π Truffle Ramen

π° $11.90
Truffle ramen at a coffeeshop... whut. Was super fascinated when I walked past Mr Ramen at K88 Kopitiam in Chinatown, so I had to try it. I've had my fair share of hella disappointing truffle dishes, so I was kinda expecting this one to disappoint me too.
Thankfully it didn't, else I woulda rioted. The truffle taste in this is STRONG!!!! There's truffle oil in the soup, PLUS a dollop of truffle paste thing. If you love truffle, you def wont be disappointed by this ramen.
It could be a little overwhelming for those who dislike strong tastes or truffle, but if you're a truffle fanatic like me, this is one of the strongest truffle dishes I've had. Albeit its slightly chemical-y but for the price I wouldn't expect them to whip out actual truffles.

Value for money considering the portion but the roast meat was dry. Would return for the roast duck.
