Another winner at Woolyโ€™s Bagel! Champs!!

Absolutely love this bowl of chilli cheese Mac! Bursting with flavour!

No more Birdie on the menu as they changed up a bit and spruced up the recipes. Still very tasty bagels!

I had this huge bagel with my husband. Thankfully we shared one and it was more than enough. It was juicy, crispy and crunchy sesame chicken bagel. Loved it! Cost- $15.90

I remember when I first know about them, they just started from their first shop along Rangoon Road. Now they have expanded to another 2 outlets in other places.

Came to their Rangoon Road outlet on Sunday late afternoon and still find most of the tables are occupied.

The one reason that made me want to come here is because this unique bagel with our local otah.

Totally no regrets getting it. It was so tasty and spicy enough. They used mackerel otah, stuffed together with scrambled eggs.

Saddened by their approaching closure (2 June), I am a little embarrassed that I only got down to visit them last weekend (the woes of a west-sider).

I also had to over-order and got their Croquette & Kani Sando ($16.20). Sandwiched in between 2 soft slices of toasted Japanese Milk Bread, was a crisp Potato Croquette with refreshing Kani Salad, slathered with torched Mentaiko Mayo and umami Ikura Shoyu Zuke. Canโ€™t go wrong with savoury Mentaiko, thankfully it wasnโ€™t overly salty or heavy. The croquette was nicely executed as well - crisp on the outside, tender and on the inside.

Saddened by their approaching closure (2 June), I am a little embarrassed that I only got down to visit them last weekend (the woes of a west-sider).

I had previously ordered their buns when they were still a home-based business so of course I had to try the signatures fromย Maduย Bakery's dine-in menu. A crowd-favourite, the Cereal Prawn Croissant ($15.90) reallyย delivered. Topped with sizeable plump prawns, the flaky buttery bake was well complemented with tangy drizzles of Yuzu Mayo, sliced Cheese, fragrant Toasted Cereal crumbs and Curry Leaves. The tiger prawns tasted fresh and I reallyย enjoyed how juicy and sweet they were.

Now this was our favourite bagel because the fried chicken thigh was perfect! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, there was a slight spicy kick to the meat which was nice. The scrambled eggs were especially fluffy and creamy, and made the bagel lowkey sinful but extremely delicious.

There were multiple pastrami slices made from cured beef brisket in this bagel. Surprisingly, the pastrami was tasty but not too salty. We especially liked their homemade sweet mustard which added a nice touch. However, we must say that this bagel was on the pricier side.

That teriyaki chicken thigh was SO juicy and soft. Paired with the eggs and truffle mayo, the bagel was really substantial, and each bite was just an oomphf of savoury and umami flavours.

Woolyโ€™s has a number of stores in SG and as far as we know, their Arab Street outlet has the newest items and innovations while the Rangoon Road one we visited has the most affordably priced bagels. You can count on them for a delicious bite!

Backyard Birdie Bagel was hearty and filling. The chicken was battered and fried to a nice golden crispy while maintaining moist. The scrambled egg was a hard scrambled as it was fully cooked and firm. Would be better if it was softer and creamy.
