Would say this is an affordable sushi place if you're craving for sushi in town. But the quality is really not up to standard. The rice is pretty terrible and whenever I order salmon mayo... the mayo is nowhere to be seen (really MAYO 沑ζ lol). The spicy chicken is not even spicy and soba noodles was so dry sobs. The only thing they did right was probably nice playlist and cheap pricing π£
Was the orange plate meant to camouflage the size of the salmon sashimi? π A few touches on their not so responsive iPad menu had made the experience a little unpleasant. whitepuff is not impressed π
Nothing impressive but this is definitely very decent simple sushi if thatβs what youβre craving for. ($1.80++ per plate)

TLDR; get better value for your buck and tummy elsewhere.
This was appalling small - about the size of a 50-cent coin! Yes, this is cheap at $1.50 but the quality was shocking and the rice mushed. The only things worth ordering here are still the salmon dishes.
This Tori Karaage with Egg Tartar is the most extravagant tasting $1.60 plate I've ever had at a conveyor sushi chain restaurant. The lean fried chicken chunks were not at all soggy oily, the skin was crispy and meat was tender. With the right acidity and creaminess, the egg tartar was the perfect complement to this classic all-time favourite. π
I wished these Yuzu and Kyoho Grape Sorbet cups were available everywhere because each only costs $1.60! Mind blown π²
I was delighted to see Lobster Salad with Ebi Avocado Maki ($1.60) which has everything I love in one mouthful of maki. π Succulent prawn with creamy avocado, and bite into the spicy lobster salad wrapped in fluffy Japanese rice rolled with fish roes - this was what I imagine this maki should be. Sadly, the friendly price tag downplays the quality and taste of each element. π
It's been a long while since I last visited Nihon Mura Express and I spotted some new items. I just had to order this Kani Salad Fuji Maki ($1.60). So cute that they present kani salad maki differently by making reference to Mt Fuji! π»π
Mandatory Age Salmon Kawa ($1.60) at Nihon Mura is fried to order, coming to you hot and fresh. Gentle on the sweet sauce, that brown drizzling nicely enhances the salmon skin's savoury seasoning. A plate of crispy to crunch; a delightful fix for those potato chips!

All food served was good. I recommend salmon sashimi instead of salmon belly. Salmon belly don't taste good at all. Highly recommend hotate mentai, salmon mentai! π£

We can now purchase argentina prawns, crabs and seafood sashimi from the retail stores. They are launching their online website soon!
They also have the frozen version of their signature prawn paste chicken (my fave), lemongrass chicken thighs and cajun chicken thighs that are nicely marinated in advance. So all we have to do is open the airtight bag and start cooking. How convenient!

Not the best of quality but every plate only at $1.60 I'm not complaining.
$1.60 per plate sushi place. Don't ask for too much, but if you're just looking for a sushi fest without the fuss about the quality, this place is it. It's just one of those days I seek convenience over quality!
Ordered about 15 dishes and a scoop of icecream to share with a dear friend. Pretty worth the money it's about $30 with GST. Each place costs $1.50 regardless of what you order so heres a pretty cute photo of green on green while waiting for the other food to arrive! Happy Sunday β¨
