Served in a charcoal cone, the only downside was that this softserve melts really fast hence best to consume immediately after purchase. I could only manage to capture my shot within 7 secs before it became an avalanche and starting dripping all over 😢. Texture was smooth albeit slightly icy, with the interior still remaining cold and firm despite the weak exterior 😅 .

With currently two flavours available(royal milk tea & purple potato milk), I opted for the latter, being a fan of purple sweet potato. Unfortunately, the flavour was a mild one that resembled more of taro instead, lacking the characteristic sweetness of purple potato which I was expecting. Oh well, perhaps it’s also evident from the lilac hue instead of a deep purple one. In addition, this softserve melted way too fast, within 3 seconds after I snap this first shot (swipe to view the tragedy🙈) that hindered prolonged enjoyment. Nevertheless, texture was smooth, creamy and I like how this was served on a green cone that reminded me of my favourite green tea, which unfortunately it’s just the colour playing a trick to my eyes. Perhaps royal milk tea would be a safer option to stick to...

Tried the belgian dark chocolate croissant taiyaki this time. The chocolate was rich, but the croissant was a little tough... Would definitely recommend their mochi taiyaki over their croissant taiyaki.

They are pretty generous with the azuki, filling it all the way to the tail. A bit too sweet, but was pretty good!

With a 55% Belgian chocolate filling you can't go wrong with this one! The filling tasted luscious and the croissant itself was a little chewy on the sides. Worth trying other flavours too IMO.
The soft serve was already melting by the time I laid my hands on it. It was moderately sweet but refreshing in the sweltering after rain weather. Besides the soft serve, they also have Croissant Taiyaki and Mochi Taiyaki. Outdoor seating is available so you are welcomed to sweat together with your melting soft serve 🤣
Saw someone posting it on Instagram and found it pretty interesting — decided to give it a go despite the slightly high price tag of $4.50 for a cone. While the ice-cream did melt a little too quickly, it was smooth and creamy with a hint of roasted rice flavour; something that was similar to the flavour of rice mochi. The cone actually managed to retain its crunch despite the melting ice-cream, and while I probably wouldn't think of having this often due to its price, I am actually quite glad to have given it a try.
We took our first bite and we just looked at each other with a strange expression written all over the face. It tasted just like a dead fish - Cold & hard body, with a strange aftertaste of the white cheesecake filling inside. Not too sure will we be back to try other flavours or perhaps we should ask the person to heat it up first the next time?
If you love mochi, this is a MUST-TRY. A twist on the traditional Japanese pancake, this rendition is made with rice flour so it's sticky and slightly gummy, but done so delicately and thinly that it's soft enough to pull apart easily and has a dreamy, melt-in-the-mouth texture. I also love that the lush strawberry cream cheese filling features in generous swirls throughout the fish's body. Well worth $3!
Made myself real tired this week😩😲 but finally it's Friday 😌 Here's a dessert last night [Cream Cheese & Corn Croissant Taiyaki S$4.80]. So happy that they opened 1 outlet here at the basement of 313, no need to go Chinatown already. The pastry is crispy and nice but not the filling. Cannot tell there's cream cheese and really little corns, more like eating pastry kosong. 🙊
It took 10 minutes to get ready and the shop doesn't have an air conned dining area. Hence I wanted patiently in the blistering sun, and the Mochi itself was burning hot as the staff passed it to me. I could barely hold it. The Mochi was just a typical Mochi. Some edges were crispy and there was a very sweet red bean paste in it. Sadly though there wasn't enough red bean paste. The tasteless Mochi was just too much.
Usual $2.50 each. It is like a rather oiling Mochi stuffed with red bean paste.
Very chewy n Q mochi unlike the usual taiyaki! They have lots of flavours to choose frm too!
This heavenly mouthwatering scrumptious tempting taiyaki is filled with sweetened ogura
Had the Matcha Mochi Taiyaki, which had a really chewy exterior and an interior filled with a generous amount of rich matcha cream which had a really smooth and thick consistency.
This is the only place i know of to get my mochi taiyaki fix in singapore. I thought it was a random street vendor and didn’t even note down a name. I walked for 15 minutes to this place in the pouring rain after work yesterday as it was highly recommended...only to realise when I got there I had been before 😂 I had another Matcha Mochi Taiyaki anyway! Due to its size it isn’t as firm as regular sized mochi and not as chewy. The matcha filling is very delicious however and not overly sweet.
