Pretty classic poke bowl
The sushi rice is a little hard. Fresh ingredients and adding a squeeze of lime really brightened the dish.
Overall solid.
Part of me wants to keep ordering delivery & takeaway while part of me wants to dine in.
These maki were packed with ingredients with just the right amount of rice.
I fell in love with their Dos Amigo. The combination of grilled eel, avocado & cream cheese is heavenly good, keeps me wanting more. Especially with the additional of cream cheese, it enhances the creaminess but not overpowering.
Sunkissed Salmon was a good alternative for me, topped with seared salmon & tobiko while being stuffed with crabstick & avocado. I love their maki creation.

Dos Amigo (half/full) $7.50++/$14++
Sunkissed Salmon (half/full) $8.50++/$15.80++
Salmon & tuna, mesclun, avocado, cucumber, tamago, onion, fish roe, alfalfa, sesame seed & classic soy sauce. This poke bowl was good, filled with many cubes of fresh sashimi, mixed with their soy sauce and rice, every mouthful had avocado, tamago and sashimi.
My go to place for maki rolls ever since I had them back in 2017. I’m a die hard fan of their 𝘿𝙤𝙨 𝘼𝙢𝙞𝙜𝙤𝙨, a unagi- cream cheese tempura roll, but I’ve ventured beyond (the one thing I always order) to try the 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙣 (~$15.95).🍥

The rice roll was enfolded by the softest, most delicate seared salmon. It was topped with tobiko and a small dollop of Mentaiko mayo, but sometimes the small things bring the most kick. 🍣🤪

What’s on the inside is important, too. And in this case, it’s the luscious crab meat, stripped down into small shreds. Idk why they even offer a half roll, bc I will eat a damn full roll on MY OWN

i alw get the Salmon mentaiko roll (can’t rmb the exact name) and it’s quite ex (~$16-18 iirc) BUT pls go try it’s WORTH
Got half of each type of roll for a total of $17.20. This place is delicious and it’s always been my guilty pleasure... but seriously? $17 for one full roll? After eating this healthy but not-so-filling meal, I have to fast for the next 2 lunches alr
I get that the ingredients are a lot but I’ve had similar rolls in CBD for way cheaper :/ Aussie Roll where you at!
You can choose either half rolls or full rolls. Each has lots of ingredients and I am only listing a few here. The dos amigos roll (top picture) was amazing, containing unagi with cream cheese, avocado, tamago and crunchy tempura bits amongst other things. The flavour and textures complemented each other well. Caterpillar, with crab meat, jicama, avocado, and other ingredients, was also tasty but did not have the satisfying crunch of the other. Overall the rolls are pricey but worth trying!
A healthy salad lunch in mind often brings me to Rollie Olie.
Chosen Pacific Sunset | $13.40 which is served with seared tuna, soft boiled egg, french bean, lettuce, tomato, potato, olives and anchovy red wine vinaigrette. Full of colours that is needed in my dietary!
‘Tis a simple dish of fried fish fillets, modestly dressed lettuce, simple steamed rice, and a copious amount of mentaiko mayonnaise, but it sure is satisfying.
The crumb on the fish fillet was crisp and excellent, while the fish encased inside was flaky and had a nice, firm texture. That mentaiko mayo, as expected, was the undisputed MVP of the game. As you can see, it was slightly grainy, giving the mentaiko mayonnaise a very addictive grainy texture with the occasional pop every now and then. It was creamy, mildly briny, and unbelievably umami. Delicious stuff, I tell ya hwat.
This is the straightforward story of when fried fish met mentaiko mayo, but damn it’s one helluva love story. Miles better than twilight, to be honest.
Dos Amigo (~$14.95): hands down one of the better unagi rolls I’ve had. Instead of the classic rice and cucumber filling, this roll goes with not just that, but avocado, cream cheese and TEMPURA CRUNCH!! 🍣 Plump unagi sat on top of the rice roll, flavoured with a nice amount of sauce and sprinkled with tempura bits for the texture 😛 Also, the cream cheese was probably the best addition to this maki roll — smooth, creamy and consistent. Not to be dramatic or anything, but Rollie Ollie you have won my heart with your generous toppings 😋

Rollie Olie has been rolling up the good stuff for quite a while now, and with stunners like this Sunkissed Salmon roll ($8.50++ for half a roll) they truly deserve to keep rolling in the cash.
Thin strips of torched salmon are draped on top of rice rolls stuffed with crabstick, cucumbers & avocado, and made saucy with mentaiko mayo as well as wasabi mayo. While I did find that the salmon was a little thinly sliced, it wasn’t too much of a spoiler.
The mentaiko mayo was the undisputed heavyweight in the roll, as it’s creamy umami breathed delicious life into the sushi roll. The wasabi mayo was extremely muted, and there should’ve been more wasabi to make its presence felt. Fortunately, there was more than enough luscious mentaiko mayo to compensate for that shortcoming.
Keep rolling up that good stuff, fam.
Salmon & tuna, mesclun, avocado, cucumber, tamago, onion, fish roe, alfalfa, sesame seed & classic soy sauce. This poke bowl was too salty for me. The saltiness stayed in me for quite some time after finishing and left me quite thirsty.
Dos Amigos Roll ($14.95) interesting combination of grilled unagi, cream cheese, avocado, cucumber and tempura crunch to top it off. I quite enjoyed the combination, but it might not sit so well with those who enjoy slightly more conventional sushi ingredients.
Aloha Poke Bowl (from $13.95, depending on size) salmon and tuna were fresh, generous portions of avocado and tamago. Really enjoyed this bowl!
Salmon & Tuna, Mesclun, Avocado, Cucumber, Tamago, Radish, Fish Roe, Shiso Leaf, Sesame Seed & Wasabi Sauce.
Party the night before and clean eating the next day. Love how the ingredients come together nicely in the bowl. The crunch from the cucumbers and lettuce, a gentle kick from the wasabi sauce, and the herby hit from the Shiso leaf. Would have loved for the lettuce to be fresher.
8 bite sized sushi rolls filled with cream cheese, avocado, jicama, cucumber and tamago topped with unagi, tempura crunch and red roe!!
rly love rollie ollie for their rolls bc their rice is always moist (in the best way possible) and they r pretty generous with their ingredients! all the fillings complement each other so well, eg the creaminess of the avocado, crunchiness is the cucumbers, and the tempura rly gives it a different texture! the unagi is grilled perfectly bc it’s tender (and plus point for me bc the sauce was rly good as well) :~)
wld rate this is 8.5/10 or taste IF ONLY it wasn’t slightly pricey (its 14.95) i’ll defo have it more often!!
Words cannot describe and picture cannot do justice to how beautiful these sushi rolls are 😍 (
Finally had a chance to try their poké bowls which were sooo good. The Yuzu Bliss ($7.45 after discount) was hands-down my favorite, especially with the tea-infused rice at the Pasarbella outlet, and we always never fail to order the Sunkissed Salmon ($8.45 after discount). #burpple
Wild About Wasabi Poke Bowl - Regular ($14.95)
*
Consist of salmon, tuna, mesclun, avocado, cucumber, tamago, radish, myoga, salmon roe, shiso leaf, sesame seed and wasabi sauce (although I couldn't taste the wasabi)
Great healthy option - you can ask for only salad and no rice! The sauce was a bit too much without rice though. Love the avocado and Tuna/salmon mix
$12.95 no GST
