My favorite Loh Hei from them because the salmon together with their home make dressing is what i like

Very happy surprise. Just tried this out of curiosity, and it has become one of my faves

I am a huge fan of unagi (esp if thereโ€™s not much tiny bones lol), due to its subtly sweet taste. Hitsumabushi provided a unique experience. It allows you to enjoy your unagi on top of rice in 3 different ways (iirc, they will give you a guide so no need to panic lol)

โœจ By itself. This will make you enjoy the fish in its raw form. Similar to your usual unagi don
โœจ With condiments on top (I got some green onions and seaweed)
โœจ With dashi broth. This will remove the sauce from the eel, but will be enveloped with the very warm and hearty broth. This is my favorite. Reminds me of the chazuke we had during winter

Had it a couple of times last year and early this year (not sure if itโ€™s still available as itโ€™s not on the grand menu anymore). Need to visit again! ๐Ÿ˜‚

The ika tempura is a once-you-start-you-canโ€™t-stop kind of dish, tastes like some prawn crackers but better โ€” prepared with fresh & soft filling (squid and smt roe) with crispy & thin batter. Good to munch on while waiting for your other orders

You get a sweet & sour mouthful from each bite of one of Sushi Teiโ€™s special rolls, the Dai Dai Roll. It is filled with crabmeat, mango, and lettuce, and topped with salmon and fish roe. Similar to a usual cali maki but upgraded. It is drizzled as well with mayo and some vinegar adding to the taste

Super wowed by this dish. There is currently a 1 for 1 promo for UOB cardholders which makes it even more worth it. First bite into it and you can already smell/taste the fragrance from the sesame seeds, followed by the crunchiness of cucumber and actual pieces of lobster that you could actually bite into. Great price for great food.

Dinner earlier... the wife and kid was deciding where each one wanted to go. The wife won. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ wife ๐Ÿ˜€ me. Only kid was ๐Ÿ˜ญ but when you add the fancy Japanese fishcake into her noodles, she is ๐Ÿ˜€ too. The fried oysters are so nice! (They take everyoneโ€™s temperature before you can enter. )

A delicious combination of sweet salmon sashimi, savoury ikura, and addictive sushi rice topped with toasted sesame seeds. Add lots of wasabi and shoyu for an extra kick and maximum flavour. Down some hot green tea to cleanse the palate and prep your mouth for the next sinful spoonful!

Canโ€™t rmb the exact name but the soup was so good and soothing. Perfect in wet weather and on days u need some soulful food

It's quite interesting because I expected the cake to be plain sponge cake and the filling to be cheese, but it was the other way around! Also love the berries bits in the middle ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Our clothes will smell, but we don't mind it at all. Lol. Things we do, have hot soup in aircon, then go home and shower warm water then sleep in aircon.

Here's the seasonal Sakura mochi and strawberry ice cream, served with strawberry stuffed with ice cream. All this for just $6!

Having the Winter Hokkaido Promotion - Sashimi Moriawase featuring Otoro, Amaebi, Uni, Yari Ika, Ikura, Zuwai Crab, Nama Hotate and Sake. We know that we can never go wrong with Japanese cuisine.

This plate of wanna-sink-your-teeth-in red slices of Tuna sashimi makes you wanna... Sink your teeth in loh. Few slices ain't enough for me really, probably I'll need the whole fish? Idk. Freshest sashimi for it's price that you probably can find in a lot of places. (Sushi Tei has so many outlets!!) depending on the seasons, it's priced between SGD10-14. It's so fresh you probably feel it swimming in your tummy ๐Ÿ™Š

Assorted raw seafood with sushi rice. One of the many interesting items on Sushi Tei's 'Thank You 20th Anniversary' menu. I had the Kagoshima wagyu steak don ($32.80). Felt that the slices were thin and few. Definitely had better else where.

Waffle exterior wasn't very crispy. I prefer the Sakura one which has mochi inside. The flavour for that one was more unique and the mochi was soft and chewy.

I have never tasted Sakura before so I don't have a good gauge if the flavour is true. However, this was one sweet treat! And I do like the fact that the mochi was mixed in to give added texture.

Mum had a small appetite.

I don't really like onions but this doesn't taste as good without it.
