Ordered the chicken waffle, tacos, and burger. The chicken was extremely satisfying & huge. It was juicy & tender. MUST ORDER!! Tacos & burger were alright.
we ordered the chicken waffles and the pork collar. the chicken waffles was a great mix of sweet and savoury with the fried chicken and egg + waffles + syrup. the pork collar was tasty and tender, and it came with potato. the chicken waffles was our choice dish!
There’s no need to complicate a simple dish and that’s why the Beast, in my opinion, serves the best chicken & waffles in town.
An egg, bourbon maple syrup and succulent fat chicken cutlet that goes oh so well with the waffles that they serve alongside it.
Made even better with the Burpple 1-for-1.
It’s worth a try.

After hearing many good reviews, I have been wanting to try The Beast's chicken waffles for the longest time. To start off, the plating was well done and looks really nice in pictures. My favourite part of the dish was strangely the waffles & bourbon maple syrup as they went SO well together, I would definitely buy a bottle if they sold it seperately. That said, the waffles were a little cold? and after a while it become pretty tough :( The fried chicken on the other hand was super tender and went well with the maple syrup too! However, I do think that they could afford to season the chicken a little more because the seasoning was only on the chicken skin (which I removed in attempt to be healthier) and the meat itself was pretty bland and a bit too fatty for my liking. Nonetheless, a pretty good experience there as the staff were efficient and the vibes were nice!
The Beast’s rendition of Chicken & Waffles included a huge piece of fried boneless chicken thigh, a sunny side-up, and a buttermilk waffle. The waffle served here is not fluffy but very crispy, which may not be for everyone. However, it went great with their house-made bourbon maple butter sauce which I must note, is very strong. The best part of the dish was the well-seasoned, juicy chicken that was crispy yet remained tender at the same time.
Enjoyed the food here, we ordered 4 main dishes (in order of our likings):
- Blackened cajun pork collar $24+
- Farmboy burger $22+
- Pulled pork tacos $22+
- Southern fried chicken $20+
Food is generally good, fried chicken is passable, the pork collar is unexpectedly tender and juicy, paired well with the mashed potato
Service is good, it was crowded but waiters were polite and tried to accommodate everyone
Pros:
- Outdoor seating, perfect for cool December weather
- Free ice water served by the bottle
- Accepted Burpple Beyond
Will be back soon!
