Yayyyy!! Itโ€™s mid-week and we decided to eat a healthy diet today! ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐’๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐’๐ฉ๐จ๐จ๐ง ๐”๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ง Salad set sounds like a good deal with a spread of variety of your choice of ๐Ÿฅ˜ soup, ๐Ÿฅ—Caesar Salad,๐ŸฅคHome brewed Ice Lemon Tea and a ๐Ÿฅฏbread roll. We had a hard time deciding on their wide variety of soups and finally decided on Boston Clam Chowder! Their Boston Clam Chowder is rich, cream-based thicken with butter roux, potatoes, razor clams and celery! Each spoonful is full of ingredients and itโ€™s so satisfying! Caesar salad has a mixture of fresh lettuce with half hard boiled egg, sun-dried tomatoes, crispy crouton and generous parmesan ๐Ÿง€! End off the meal with their homemade ice lemon tea thatโ€™s so refreshing and not too sweet for our liking. Definitely a comforting and perfect balanced meal! โ €

This vegan soup is our experiment we talked about. It is a new dish that reasonates with us in many ways (as you know we love vegetarian & vegan food) ๐ŸŒฑ
.
Lightly sweet flavour with a lot of goodies like lotus root, ginseng root and mushroom! We used to try their Bhutan dish but it is gone. At least vegetarians have more options with this new dish!!๐Ÿค—
.
Note ๐Ÿ“ that this dish is part of SouperChef Special and from the board it seems they will have only until 10th Feb. Additional GST 7% applied. Please all practise good hygiene (wear mask if you are unwell and not open air coughing) ๐Ÿค“

French Onion Soup (regular)
$7.80

Lobster Bitsque Soup๐Ÿฆž (regular)
$9.80

Very excited to try their new Christmas Souperchef Specials (French Onion Soup, Tuscan Barramundi Stew, Chicken Cacciatore with Portobello & Sage and Lobster Bits-Que)

Love the generous amount of onion in the soup! However will suggest them to go lighter with the seasoning as both soups are quite salty. Lobster bitsque weirdly reminded me of shark fin soup (which I have stopped eating for many years) so I canโ€™t stomach it after my first spoonful.

Cuz Meatless Monday calls for a bowl of Meatless Minestrone from @TheSoupSpoonSG! ๐Ÿ˜‰ This is easily my to-go soup at Soup Spoon (alongside their Tokyo Chicken Stew). Let me share with you why! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
.
This hearty bowl ($7.30 for regular a la carte) features a tomato-based ๐Ÿ… vegetable stock with a generous amount of ingredients such as cabbage, onions, zucchini ๐Ÿฅ’, red kidney beans, carrots ๐Ÿฅ•, celery, potatoes ๐Ÿฅ” etc. Seasoned with some herbs & spices, the rich tomato-ey soup was certainly to my liking! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ The inclusion of macaroni filled me up more than a bowl of Tokyo Chicken Stew would. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
.
Overall, the soup was simply brimming with so much ingredients that every spoonful was bursting with flavours & a good bite! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ The accompanying multigrain bread roll ๐Ÿฅ– that has the nutty aroma & pleasant bite from the sesame seeds embedded acted as a great sponge for dipping into the soup as well. ๐Ÿ’•
.
What a wholesome meatless meal! ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Itโ€™s the last day for SingTel users to enjoy 50% off a bowl of a la carte SOUP at Soup Spoon! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป Donโ€™t say bojio ah, cuz good things must share! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Simply flash the promo page on your SingTel Rewards app! The promo applies to 8 types of different soups (inclusive of my favourite Tokyo Chicken Stewย & Meatless Minestrone) but this time, I opted to try my bro-in-law @loongwyeโ€™s recommendation - Beef Goulash! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
.
This hearty bowl of soup ($8.90 for regular) features a tomato-base beef stock with quite a generous amount of NZ grass-fed beef! ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿฅฉ Theย  marinated beef cubes were pretty tender & not overly tough or chewy, which I really liked. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Not too gamey as well, probably masked by the sweetness of the tomato paste flavoured with a little sour cream, & peppered with fresh herbs & spices such as sweet paprika. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹
.
Youโ€™ll also find a myriad of fresh vegetables including carrots, potatoes, whole peeled tomatoes, green bell peppers & celery. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š Was surprised to even find chewy shiitake mushrooms too! ๐Ÿ„ The soup was simply brimming with so much ingredients that every spoonful was bursting with flavours & a good bite! The soft bread roll acted as a nice dipping tool & filled me up further. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
.
All in all, this made a wholesome meal & Iโ€™m thankful that my protein & vegetable intake were well being taken care of. โค More importantly, there is no use of MSG or preservatives so it didnโ€™t leave me feeling thirsty! Best of all, I got this at $4.45 - what a steal! โœŒ๐ŸปโœŒ๐ŸปโœŒ๐Ÿป

Was really looking forward to some soup but this was disappointing. While fish was fresh, the sour plum was overpowering and the soup was barely drinkable. Probably sticking w the normal soup. The other time I had some tom yum prawn bisque which was a special. Didnโ€™t cut it. Iโ€™ll still go back to soup spoon. But sticking w mushroom/ clam/ chicken mushroom stew

soups were thick and creamy. pumpkin soup was your average pumpkin soup, mildly sweet. tomato soup was slightly sour and very flavorful, think I like this better than the pumpkin. ๐Ÿ’ซ

we got the sets that came with sides, which were pretty good! really enjoyed the tomato cheese briowich, the buns were fluffy and soft while the cheese was really tasty. the mushroom soba noodles were quite good as well.

came up to around $10-11 per person after gst & service charge. not bad overall, a very filling meal. good vegetarian options. ๐ŸŒฑ

7/10 ๐ŸŒŸ

$8 for the toast and spread (interesting flavors) and $4.90 green tea almond croissant! The toast was not worth it and I understand why the croissant is a crowd favourite. Would I come back specially for it again? No. However, itโ€™s a nice place to catch up with your friends ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Carrot strips were dried, Edamame was soggy with funny taste, Pesto Mushrooms tasted strange & Roasted Pumpkin Soup was bitter. Overall a very disappointing meal as there are better tastier salad at this vicinity. Only only like was the tender sweet Teriyaki Chicken Thigh. Probably will not revisit as chewing the salad here made me feel like a cow, mouth so tired ๐Ÿ˜œ

Deviated from my usual choices to try out the special menu. The vegan chilli came stuffed with loads of beans and veggies, and made for a very filling soup, with a good spicy kick. Definitely choosing this for as long as it lasts on the menu!

Being indecisive about food is always a dilemma for me! Love how soup spoon offers the half and half soup set where I get to taste 2 different soups for the price of 1! I ordered the pumpkin soup and the chicken stew. The pumpkin soup is thick, sweet and smooth while the chicken stew is more savory and packed with ingredients. I think it's a good balance, giving a variety to the taste buds. I really liked the chicken stew and you should defintely try it if you haven't. Enjoyed my dining experience here and they are having a 1 for 1 soup set promotion now which makes it even more worth it! Will defintely be back again. :)

One of the most sinful (but really tasty) dish at the soup spoon union. Fries with cheese and sausages topped with a sunny side up. YUM!

Pretty wide range of ingredients to choose from and the portion is quite generous!! Also, the falafel is really tasty (love the strong cumin flavor) but kinda dry. Toss and turn is still my fav salad place but I think this comes a pretty close second.

A healthier option from The Soup Spoon Union at just 486.3 calories.

Had the Chicken Breast with House Gravy with a side of Herbivore Salad. ($8.80) The gravy tasted sort of pumpkin-ish but was lacking more intense flavour.

Chicken combo with portobello mushroom , cauliflower rice with edamame and quinoa and House gravy๐Ÿ˜‹

"I always have a salad before I need to perform." Officially influenced by one of my female professors, I have been having salads before my mid term papers. Tried a chicken salad from makisan at $9.90 but this salad from the salad fork was better in comparison because of various reasons: 1. Bigger protein portions (yummy tuna mayo mix that had a tinge of pepper, lime and capsicums) 2. At a more affordable price of $8.80
Only drawbacks was the tasteless and cold carb option of sweet potatoes. (Wanted to forgo the carb option, to prevent the zz monster from attacking, and opt for another fiber but wasn't allow too! Did not finish my carb so I was fine :P)
