More Reviews of good food at The 6ixs Rosti

My classic rösti with chicken chop came with crispy fried potato shreds along with juicy and well-seasoned chicken chop drenched in appetising brown sauce, topped with coleslaw and a dollop of sour cream by the side. The rösti was well-seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The slices of chicken chop were a little thin but what I liked about the chicken was its soft and succulent meat grilled to juicy perfection with crispy skin 》$10.50

The 6ixs rösti offers affordable and tasty rösti in three styles (classic, spicy, cheesy and Japanese fusion) accompanied by a wide choice of proteins such as chicken chop, black pepper chicken bratwurst, smoked duck, smoked salmon, beef cube, crispy fish and chicken cutlet.

Went to The 6ixs Rosti last week and ordered a Chicken Chop with Rosti ($10.50)!😇 Its like your typical western store at a coffee shop with a Rosti option!😍

Overall ratings 9/10!! Price is affordable and tastes as good/even better than Marche's one🤣 Only downside is that the store opens at 12pm hence its not an option for breakfast/brunch😅 Would definitely be back tho hehe

This is the place to satisfy your rosti craving without breaking your bank!

Ordered both the signature rosti with beef cubes ($12) and classic rosti with smoked salmon ($10). I personally like the smoked salmon better as the beef cubes were rather chewy and not as tender. For the rosti itself - crispy outside yet tender in the inside, creating a nice sensation while you et it warm. The portion itself is quite huge and I found myself finding it difficult to finish.

For a twist, add on mozarella cheese on your rosti - but this only works for dine-in customers, as the seller don’t recommend it for take-out as the rosti may get soggy.

The 6ixs has been on my wishlist for a long time, for the fact that I seldom come across a coffeeshop stall specializing in Rostis. While some might find it perplexing as it is probably one of the pricier items in the coffeeshop, but comparing to those served in restaurants, it’s so much more affordable, although I was expecting a bigger portion and a friendlier stall holder.

As you could probably tell, my Rosti was served slightly burnt. The tightly packed potato strips were really crispy, but I could also taste the bitterness of the char while the interior remained moist. Still quite enjoyable, but I am unsure if this is the standard as it was my first visit. We chose the pairing with a black pepper chicken bratwurst, juicy but a little salty. Served with a dollop of sour cream and some crunch coleslaw. Wouldn’t mind coming back again for other flavours like the cheese Rosti.

I would say the rosti was definitely the nicest thing on the plate, and while the beef was alright, it wasn’t evenly seasoned and it was almost cold when we got the dish, hence it was a little tougher to eat.

7.5/10

Rosti was slightly burnt but was crispy on the outside. The potatoes were nicely salted and marinated and not overly salty/oily. Chicken chop portion was not large but was tender. Chicken skin was crispy too. Coleslaw and sour cream were a good addition to the meal!

Initially coming for their rosti but seeing the big portion of chicken chop, I decided to change my choice.

I like the overflow of pepper sauce over my plate. The mash potato taste weird though, but the chicken was juicy. $8.50

Probably will come back to try their rosti.

Rosti was cripsy on the outside and soft on the inside! Chicken chop is very tender as well. Highly recommended!

Rosti had always been a rare find in neighbourhood western cuisine stalls situated in a food court; probably only one out of two that I had chanced upon, though there could be more out there. Really liked how they serve different varieties of Rosti here, ranging from the Classic, to a Spicy and Cheesy variant as well.

Opted for the Cheesy Rosti; the Rosti here comes sufficiently thick, whilst crisp and golden brown on the exterior — the weaves of potato being tightly packed and giving a good bite without being particularly crispy. The Cheesy Rosti comes with melted cheese over the top; all oozy and stretchy — a crowd pleaser on its own and a plus that makes opting the cheesy variant more of a no-brained here for cheese lovers. The Chicken Chop on the side was also as satisfying; tender, juicy and succulent, it also comes slightly smoky, and the brown sauce helps to give it a complimenting savoury was that works out well altogether. All Rosti dishes come with coleslaw on the side; almost akin to that usually served at KFC with a slight milkiness that is milder than the one served by the colonel, whilst also chopped finer for better crunch.

A lot choices to choose for the rosti like spicy, cheesy and even premium tastes. Add the meat of your choice to complete the rosti meal.

The outer part was very crispy. Sour cream is homemade so you won’t feel the damn sour and creamy taste after having more.

However they doesn’t have a shop of their own yet, they will be appearing in events and schools.

Recharging myself to a happiness level of 💯% with this simple and scrummy rosti with smoked salmon, that’s budget-friendly too! Their rosti has an extra-crispy surface yet soft in the inside and smeared with the dollop of sour cream, that’s so damn gooooood!
