To my knowledge, Pita Bakery supplies almost all of the pita bread to cafes, bistros and restaurants that serves them. 🤤

Get their Special Fresh Hummus Dish (💵S$13) which includes a plate of fresh hummus & 2 Pitas. Furthermore, buy 5 pitas and get 1 Free. I’d rather spend my money here any day of the week than some overpriced eggs Benedict brunch bullshit that’s littered in the menus of mediocre cafes. 🔖

This bingsu is really really chocolatey! With bananas, brownie, chocolate ice cream and coco crunch as toppings, you can have this as a meal on its own :)

P.s. 2 bingsu for 3 people is way too much 😂

An all time favourite order, this seafood leek pancake was a big winner. Not only was it massive and well worth every penny, but it was crispy on the outside, chewy inside and chock full of squid and prawns. This little resto tucked away in Bukit Timah Plaza is such a gem.

I'm a big fan of mentaiko sushi so I definitely recommend this. 👍🏻

Located at fortune plaza and near Rochor MRT, and priced at $10 nett, how to beat such a deal like this?! 😱

~ Triple cheese Prime Beef hamburg Set • $20.80++
~ Keisuke Prime beef Hamburg Set • $18.80++

Each set is accompanied with free flow eggs (fried, deep fried, omelette, soft boiled, hard boiled, scramble, tamagoyaki) and a variety of 20 items spread of osozai (Japanese side dishes)

Pricier than most other baguettes, but it's one of the best ones I've had too! The outside was hard and crusty like any respectable baguette would be while the interior was amazingly soft and fluffy.
A very well executed baguette made with authentic ingredients (the owner shared it was made with French flour) to boot. ☺

Taking over the former space of The Orange Thimble at Eng Hoon Street is Merci Marcel, a new French cafe that serves up a brunch menu currently with salads, egg dishes and a section dedicated to more filling mains as well as sweets and grains.

Ravioles de Royan are essentially French dumpling pasta that comes with Tête de Moine Cheese filled within — first taste into the dish and I am pleasantly surprised by the harmonious combination of textures and flavour that goes into the entire dish. While there was use of cream in this dish, I am really amazed how the entire combination of cheese and cream was simply not too heavy on the palate here — the proportion of cheese within the pasta creates just enough bite and savouriness while the olive oil helped to counter the heaviness of the cream for a flavour that simply keeps one going on for the entire bowl. The pasta was also done al-dente; not too tough nor brittle — the texture simply on point. An absolutely beautiful dish that achieves a good balance of texture and flavours — really sold, considering how on point the entire dish was at $18.

Was actually pretty happy how the Ravioles de Royan turned out to be that I ordered the Croissant after seeing what the people beside me had ordered. The croissant here are all made in-house using French Butter — it's light, flaky and buttery without feeling in any way greasy; goes very well with the fruit jam that came beside. Wouldn't mind having this at all for leisurely tea break with a cup of coffee on the side.
