This childhood favourite certainly calls for a surge of nostalgia. As a child, I would frequent this Scissors Cut Curry Rice stall with my parents, especially for supper since it is only a stone's throw away from where I live. It is not only my mum's favourite, my entire family loves it, even till today. I was told how my dad used to bring mummy on dates there, just because she once told him that she loves it, how unromantic! As a kid, I remember how the gooey mess on the plate totally did not appeal to me at first. But as time went by, I grew to love it! It may be a shame that I can no longer patronize the stall with both my parents again, but dining there with my boy today brings new meaning for me as I recall and share my fond childhood memories with him. #hawkerpedia

The wok hei in this dish is REAL folks! Extremely fragrant, it ain't your average hor fun. The gravy is laden with the taste of prawns and fried shallots, making the entire dish slurp worthy.
Do come early though, as part of the experience is a chaotic mess of a queue and confused diners. We got lucky and shared a table (and made a friend! Hi @msginginly ). Will have to come back again as we missed out on their Claypot Yong Tau Foo which was already sold out at ard 630 😭😭😭
I must've annoyed some people with my endless ravings over BoCHINche's burger the whole of last week. I could wax lyrical about this all day: from the soft and fluffy buns religiously charred on the grill, the mandoline-ed pickles, the sautéed sundried tomatoes, to the lean ribeye pattie. So do me a favour - don't trust me. Go have a taste yourself.
One of the best steak I tried. Juicy and tender, cooked to perfection. Rate:👍👍👍
Creamier. $3 #EarlGrey #lavender was not not bad, nice fragrance of lavender. $3 #pistachio was the best I ever had, very intense roasted nutty pistachios, better than alfero's! Their tahitian #vanilla was ok, needs improvement, i won't want to pay extra again just because the vanilla is from tahiti, it's a magical place i know i know, Phil Coulson may agree with me 😁 😁 😁 , still prefer alfero's. What I like about their ice cream is they're not too sweet.
A simple dish but required good cooking skill. It is very different to achieve such bouncy texture at home because of the home stove will never able to reach such high temperature.
Firstly, cooked the egg, pork and bean spout with a bit of lard and oil. Then add in the soaked glass noodle and seasoned with black soy sauce. It is important to stop after the first mouth.

There's just something magical about this cauldron of goodies that makes me crave for it over and over again. This time round I was not able to eat it as I was feeling under the weather and I can only see my foodie friends enjoy it as they slurp down bowls and bowls of it. It was painful but an added motivation for me to recover quickly so that I can return for it soon.

It is cheap. Comes with only ice lemon tea. The MAC and cheese is so delicious!
Crispy and flavorful, i could finish one whole serving by myself. This is probably the only dish worth trying at House tbh.

Baked eggs with slow cooked lamb shoulder in spiced tomato sauce. I love baked eggs! Takes a skillful chef to do this correctly! From the top, the eggs looks cooked, but it should still be runny inside! Let's a trick in doing this, I guess it comes with practice! I've cooking it for 5 years.. I wonder how many eggs I ever touched so far.. I believe more than 10,000 eggs. Back to the topic, like the way they cooked the lamb, not strong taste of the lamb! *claps*
