The National Day festive season has so much🍴🍽🍴in stored but I only have one mouth and if all else fails I knew this had to be something I could not miss to celebrate the patriotic occasion.
The description read “Tender soft blue pea cake layered with coconut flesh and a luxurious layer of coconut curd, encased with light coconut fresh cream. Finished with sea-salted dedicated coconut”
To be honest I did not get what blue pea should taste like but the calming blue dye was so nice to look at. What I loved was the fresh cream that was not saccharine- as expected from my favourite bakery. If the stewed coconut flesh with a nice crunch was a soldier, it was marching in unison with the truly soft cake. Local born Cedele outdoing itself once again, happy birthday Singapore 💋✨

There’s always space for cakes 🍰 And Cedele is officially the best place for it. Believe it or not, every slice on the table was damn good. But nothing beats the all-time BEST carrot cake.

Spinach Banana Oatbran Muffin ($2.80)
Pesto & Cheese Scone ($2.40)

Love the pesto flavour but it’s a tad too salty.
The banana muffin is soft and not too sweet.

The best carrot cake I’ve tried! Generous amount of walnut chunks and grated carrot 🥕 Spice is just nice too!

Matcha chocolate cake is a great combination! I usually don’t like chocolate but this is awesome!

Burger right here proves that healthy vegetarian doesn’t conflict with having a substantial meal. The purple beetroot patty is palatable to anyone esp if you don’t fancy the purple root- because besides the color any trace of tartiness from beetroot is absent; instead think a dark purple but chunky potato-estique patty. This over a layer of unsweetened pumpkin and rich slices of avocado. What won me over was Cedele’s sweet-spicy Chilli Jam that I adore since discovering it; and their consistent bread product: my choice of spinach burger bun/bap.
