Made a trip to Density Frozen Custard and found a really cool and dark spot that the spotlight is able to shine directly on my Pistachio Ice Cream ($4) with Pretzels topping ($1), both perfect for a scorching weather like Singapore. After re-watching The Dark Knight movie last night, there was a quote by Jim Gordon, which he said at the end of movie which I feel is kinda apt for this shot, "Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight." Also, thank you to the friendly staff who helped me with this shot by adjusting the lights.
This is seriously an awesome combination! The smoothness of the frozen custard is quite hard to explain.. The downside is that it melts way too fast! Their flavours change daily!
We had the vanilla and nutella flavors ($4 per scoop) - tastewise, it was very thick and creamy due to the addition of eggs during the production process. Loads of different interesting flavors available everyday too! #densitysg #densityfrozencustard #burpple

Essentially the ice cream form of my beloved Werthers' candy, the butterscotch fragrance was prevalent in the frozen custard, punctuated with hints of saltiness probably from fresh sea salt.
My current favourite flavour of Density so far, and considering I dislike Salted Caramel-ish tastes, this speaks volumes.
🍦 They open till 12am, located between Rochor Beancurd and The Ramen Stall hehe. Had the Apple Pie 🍎 custard that was so yummy and rly tasted like pie! But in ice cream form (custard = more smooth and dense with no air pockets). Chose salted pretzel topping to complement the sweetness and add some crunch.
Hehe the owner asked us what flavours we wanted and we suggested salted egg!!!! Go and strongly vote also haha. Oooh and chendol / pulut hitam / coconut!! / earl grey / matcha (which they have liao) lololol.

Have you ever had frozen custard? Situated at Short Street near the famous Rochor Bean Curd, Density Frozen Custard offers an all-American premium ice cream experience. Priced from $4 onwards, the ice cream is churned daily using natural ingredients, and egg yolks as a stabliser. The minimal air incorporated into the making of the frozen custard thus requiring the use of less sugar (supposedly half the amount in a regular froyo). Aside from their regular flavours such as Madagascan Vanilla Bean, you can expect a rotating selection of Daily Specials such as Quadruple Chocolate, Gingerbread and Strawberry Shortcake.

I've chosen red velvet and peanut butter on my waffle. Ice cream is smooth and soft, with freshly made waffle! I would come back again for the place. Not exactly good for big groups but I guess we were lucky to fit 10 people together. Place has got wifi too!
