This place has satisfying pizza! We got an assortment of pizzas with very interesting toppings, including this mala pizza. It has quite an authentic mala taste (both numb and spicy) and Iβm surprised at how well it was on pizza! The staff are very nice and friendly too :)
Mayo base, fresh salmon sashimi, ikura & topped with nori flakes.
I enjoyed the succulent sashimi pieces and the roe pieces which were bursting with flavour. The pizza was very flavourful. I loved this!
House special bourbon sauce, topped with slow cooked pulled pork, caramelised onions and basil.
This was a very sweet pizza due to the caramelised onions. Itβs a relatively safe choice for people who are afraid to venture into new boundaries in terms of taste.

Itβs a sweet pizza due to the mayo-takoyaki sauce and bonito flakes... Itβs truly takoyaki. I liked that the crust wasnβt too thick so it was not surfeiting.
Sambal-coconut base, chicken, egg, topped with cucumbers and ikan bilis.
Itβs slightly spicy due to the sambal but the lemak-ness was not distinctive. Quite an interesting fusion pizza!
Came with a group of friends for beer and pizza, their Takoyaki pizza is a must try! Also enjoyed the company of Ben, one of the friendly owners of the place.
This cute little pudding was the best way to end of the night as it soft creamy texture blended with the tangy berries helped to neutralise our taste buds. Every mouthful is such a delight that the burpplers made such that no a single ounce was left.
Don't be fooled by its beautiful appearance, what lies beneath will give its eaters a school and burning sensation!! The mala pizza was one of the hottest star of the night physically because packs the right amount of spice which got slightly saltier with each bite.
This definitely caught my eye because of the excellent attempt to mimic one of the nationβs favourite dish. I had my fair share of reservations as such innovations could end up a little odd on the taste buds. But I decided to give it a go when the other burpplers started raving about it and boy they were right. I could literally imagine myself chomping down a fragrant bowl of nasi lemak if I hadn't open my eyes. Depizza is indeed the champion when it comes to fusion food!
Super thankful to Burrple for inviting me for this eat up and I am happy to say I have added one quaint pizza joint on my list. The meat lover pizza is ultimately the one that made my jaw drop because I thought it was the least fusion and unseemingly one of all that we ordered. However, the chunkiness of the sausages, pepperoni complemented well with the sweet and spicy base which made every mouthful a delight! A must try for first timers to Depizza!
Among the crowded and chattering bars at Boat Quay, lies DePizza where they provide a good atmosphere for you and your friends to chill. The pizzas offered here have thin crusts, and were generous with the ingredients.
I especially liked this one, as you can tell the tomato based sauce is fresh, and the layer of cheese was really thick, and have that really cheese pull you long for in every pizza.
Though there is nothing new about incorporating Asian flavours into the humble Italian dish, DePizzaβs range of fusion pizzas are pretty creative such as their Japanese-inspired Takoyaki Pizza ($26) and aΒ unique take on a Singaporean favourite, Mala Madness ($24). The former being a hit at the table with its savoury mayo-takoyaki sauce base and generous spread of bonito flakes on their signature thin-crusted dough. The surprise chunks of octopus, squid and bacon hidden underneath the katsuobushi also blended well with thesweetness of the tonkatsu sauce. However, if you are all for the classics, the All About Them Proteins Pizza ($25) and Really Cheesy Pizza ($20) were well-receivedΒ and delivered in flavour. Before the Eatup at DePizza, I did a little reconnaissance round the internet and was delighted to find that DePizza has their full food menu up on their well curated website. As a result, I was tempted to try certain pizzas more than others. I had my eye on squarely on Mary Had A Little Lamb, but it was an unfortunate disappointment.
The little bits of Guinness marinated lamb was sufficiently savory, but it was hideously hard and stringy instead of being juicy & tender. The only real redeeming quality of it is the competently crafted thin crust, which stayed remarkably un-soggy no matter how long we took to devour the pizza.
On the bright side, DePizza is doing a special 1-for-1 pizza AND drink deal to celebrate their first anniversary which lasts till the end of this month. The drinks encompass a glass of their house pour wine, so this month of July is a real good month to get your pizza & wine on at DePizza.
Good tasting pizza for a good price with Burpple Beyond! Had the meat loverβs pizza and mary had a guiness lamb pizza. Both were really yummy. Will come back for sure!
This is one of Depizzaβs more funky fusion pizzas. Decked out with a ton of bonito flakes and sauce drizzled over it, itβs quite the sight. It has a mayo-takoyaki sauce base and has octopus, squid and bacon on it, although I mostly tasted the octopus. While an interesting concept, it felt like they could have been a bit more generous with the ingredients as well.

This is my second time trying the sashimi pizza, but itβs still not my preferred item on the menu. Nevertheless, if youβre craving Japanese food but your friend wants Italian, this could be a good compromise haha! The pizza has a mayo base and is topped with chunks of salmon sashimi, roe, and seaweed flakes. I personally donβt enjoy the mayo base and thought that the salmon tasted a bit mushy for my liking this time though.
