More Reviews of good food at Food Barn (Galaxis)

Even if this was a cafe and I got the meal for takeaway, I really cannot smooth over the sheer disappointment I had while struggling through the Signature Classic Barn Burger ($19.50+). My main gripe was that the bottom of the burger was completely soaked in grease! The base bread was all limp and soggy, and I couldn't get a bite in without the lettuce and patty all slipping out. - everything was just falling apart! And this was only about 5min after I collected the package and walked across the street to Timbre+ to have my meal. Simply terrible experience.

If you work around the One North area, this is one good lunch alternative to go to! I have tried a variety of their sandwiches and quesadillas before and they were all pretty delightful! The smoked salmon sandwich ($12) came with a rather substantial amount of smoked salmon pieces, fresh vegetables and a very refreshing dressing within. Though the bread itself can be a little tough, you know its quality bread. Love how fresh tasting the sandwich was!

They gave a good handful of chips that may be a little too salty, but they were still addictive. There is a small amount of coleslaw by the side too which was made fresh in house! Will be back to try their pastas and burgers 😍

A quiet cafe for you to have lunch and chill out. My meatball linguine was good except that I wished the pasta was more al dente. Prices were reasonable for the portion.

Cheese ravioli is really good! Brought 3 other friends to try them and they love it too! The cheese goes really well. Best to share! If not it will get a little too jelak 🙊 best thing about this place is that there’s no additional GST and service charge!

I know, carbs on carbs🥖🍝, but biting into the crunchy garlic bread with creamy hot ravioli on top was ✨divine✨

Portion was HUGEEE (I was only halfway through when my dad was done with his aglio olio😂), and they were v generous with the salmon & cheese🧀🧀

Finally back at Food Barn at One North for their sandwiches and it's as good as ever! I had their beef BLT sandwich ($12 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) and there was a substantial amount of meat, together with really fresh vegetables within. I really enjoyed the chips as well as they were pretty moreish! The coleslaw hidden behind is refreshing as well. Recommended if you are around the area for lunch!

This is a great place for brunch, we used Burpple beyond’s one-for-one vouchers and really enjoyed our Philly cheesesteaks. Food barn also has an extensive menu and most of their dishes looked delicious. I wouldn’t really recommend their coffees though.

just because of the 1-1, giving it a 6.5/10! food was meh

The steak cheese filly was good! Portions were generous too. Will come back again

Rich creamy carbonara spaghetti ($16.50) with good serving of bacon and ham. With the soft boiled egg mixed in, it gets a little “gelat” when the food gets cold. Overall, it is still a satisfying meal.
Fish burger w spicy aioli ($17). Generous serving. Fries is hot and crispy. Enjoyed their coffee. One of the better long black among the many cafes. Strong brew with a bitter punch that is to my liking. Cafe latte has the right balance of the coffee and milk.
Total spend $25 with Burpple 1 for 1. Good deal. Will come back again as the ambience is relaxing and not crowded.

This one's for the salted egg lovers! I was quite surprised when I took my first bite as I didn't realise that the pasta comes with salted egg sauce. Strong flavours aside, this came with a generous amount of scallops (there were around 6) for the price. I did find the pasta a little cloying but don't think it would be an issue for the hardcore salted egg fans!

Ordered this (along with another pasta) with the ongoing 1-1 burpple deal. Affordable option, however I think I'd stick to their sandwiches if I revisit!

Tossed in chicken bolognaise sauce, the pasta came with shaved parmesan cheese and a slice of garlic bread. I stole a mouth from my friend and it was not bad. The pasta also contains grilled eggplant and zucchini 🍝

When we visited on a Friday evening, most of the seats were already reserved in advance. So you might want to book ahead of your visit unless you don't mind the counter seats.

Purchased these with the 1-for-1 deal on burpple.

$17 for 2 plates of this (1for 1)

Generous amount of cheese and mushroom that incorporated so well together with the beef ! Awesome quiet environment for a brunch date ~

Worth it with eatigo. Pizza had a strong tomato herby flavour with cheese and some meat. Crust was quite soft too.

Partner really enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak burger, very spacious & chill place. Total bill came up to $24.90 including 2 drinks and all taxes which was very worth 🥰

This ravioli was surprisingly good! The sauce was so creamy and they certainly didn't skimp on the cheese. There was also a generous serving of smoked salmon under the heap of cheese.

Very icy and barely creamy. Had to crunch through the tasteless ice to get a hint of yoghurt sadly.

Like most of the new trendy cafes at *one North*, they have ceiling to floor windows and a rustic industrial feel here.

Philly cheesesteak ($15) 🌭 6/10

Though there was an adequate amount of meat, the baguette and meat was quite dry. The fries were well seasoned but not hot when served.

The burger was super delicious and big in portion! Beef patty was flavourful and went well with the crispy bacon and thick layer of grilled cheese. Fries were crispy and tasty due to some seasoning. The crab cake side dish was quite disappointing as the portion was small and the salted egg sauce was slightly overwhelmed by the curry leaves.
