Instead of spending over $50/pax for a high tea set, how about a $30++/pax high tea buffet? Although it may not be as delicious as before, the price stays the same over the years. Sad to know that they will be closing down at the end of the year. Do visit them before they close down for good:(
House @ Dempsey... nice place to hangout n take wefies... with the vintage decos... of course the foods are also nice and serve simple and strong fragrant truffle fries. The Kong Bak Bau is great too with the thick pork slices and the just nice serving white bau! Must go for weekend brunches or Lunners!
The portion is great (at least for me), very garlicky, and while the menu claimed to be Aglio olio, personally I felt that it's more "vongole" style with the southern New Zealand clams. It's more wet, from the clams and definitely lack the olive oil, garlic combo. Not complaining, but definitely misleading. Presentation is the greatest, most likely it was a slow night, and the Chef is not feeling it that night.
Pumpkin + goat cheese + graham biscuit crumble = a combination that I enjoy so much despite me not being a fan of pumpkin!
Huge burger with cheese, rings and sweet potato. Beef is thick and nice.
The last time I was here was 3 years ago I think. So glad they've revamped their menu since then because I've so many favourites, especially the curry leaf brownie and the ultra moist banana cake! 😋
