Happy 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣3️⃣! Had our first meal of the year at Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck🦆, a restaurant we've wanted to try for the longest time. Their Peking Duck definitely lives up to its name of one of the best in Singapore👍. The skin is thin, crispy with just the right amount of fat, and the meat is juicy, not dry at all🥩. Having the meat on it's own is good, but we preferred it in the wheat wrap. It tastes refreshing and slightly sweet with the scallions, cucumber🥒 and sauce. Super good! We chose to stir-fry the remaining duck on the bone with ginger and scallion. The gravy was really nice and savoury, we think this would go super well with rice🍚. Overall, the Peking Duck was really delicious. We loved having different ways to enjoy one dish, it made the experience more fun and enjoyable😍!

The star of the show is the duck. The skin is very crispy and not greasy. The duck meat is succulent and not dry at all. Even the breast meat is tender and the gamey taste is not strong. Very delicious with the wrap and the sauce.

Other worthy mentions include the Roast Pork Belly which has a thin crispy layer of skin and juicy meat.

The Char Siu is also another highlight of the meal. The meat is unbelievably moist and flavourful.

The remaining duck meat is cooked with Ee Fu noodles. The noodles are stir-fried, not braised but still good. The taste is light but again delicious.

My family enjoyed the dinner and service was great. Do order the Peking duck in advance to avoid disappointment.

Maybe the best eefu I've had as of 28/12/21. It's more chow mein style actually, as it's a dry style with sauce rather than a braised version. Very clean, yet super addictive. I was much more impressed by this than the duck.

None of that weird smell that eefu usually comes with. The noodles were on the softer side for a dry style tho, which is right up my alley

Their hoisin sauce was good on its own, you can tell it's high quality from the complexity but it's too strong with the duck skin.

Crepe was too thick as well. Felt the duck was better eaten alone

I like how the duck was sliced with meat on it, esp the dark meat, so that you know you're getting your money's worth(not like how some places only serve the skin then the second cooking still barely has any meat)

Their most impressive trait was the roasted aroma, it really was league above others. Crispiness could have been more. I'm convinced there can be better Peking ducks, because black society has one that is already close to my expectations. If this is the best in SG I guess only Beijing's one will wow me

It's good but it's overhyped. Doesn't live up to my personal expectations.

The skin was crispy but I felt it could have been crispier and oilier. Props to the strong roasted flavour though

Breast meat was somewhat dry

Too much meat overkill for me in one sitting but the boys would always fight and insist on ordering this. For beef lover, this is always a joy.

Peking duck fried rice was served with the remaining of the Peking duck ordered.

Peking duck has to be ordered in advance.
There’s a choice to fry with noodles or rice.

Additional $17.65 was charged for this fried rice.

The fried rice could be less oily.

The meat so tender, juicy while the skin so crisps and crackling.
Served with Crepe to wrap it along with Cucumber, Onions and Sauce..
💰$88.

Enjoyed my dinner at @imperialtreasuresg paragon with a good frenz

I think most people will agree with my statement because Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck’s rendition of the famed poultry is magnificent.

Enveloped in a lovely aroma, theirs flaunts a glistening golden-brown skin that‘s not only outrageously crispy but has the right amount of juicy fat in all the right places. The meat is very flavourful and tender (yes, even the breast), and there is nary a whiff of what I call “duckiness”, the gamey smell that clings on (I’m sure you know what I’m talking about).

Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck only does the whole (no quarters nor halves), and it is is brought out to be carved next to your table. The chef who served us is as sharp as his knife when it comes to wielding it. He deftly removed two large squares of paper-thin skin first (these are best savoured with a little sugar) before moving to the breast section. After plating that in immaculately cut pieces, he went back in for the dark meat, separating it off the bones in large, elegant curves cut on a diagonal. Every part of the Peking Duck was insanely delicious, but the fat-laced latter was clearly my kryptonite.

From the preparation options for the remaining meat, the fried rice was my pick. It was strong in “wok hei” (smokiness resulting from being tossed in a wok over extremely high heat) and tasty, albeit a tad dry. Fortunately I’d ordered a serving of Seasonal Vegetable Poached in Chicken Broth (small: $20++) so it helped.

The two dimsum items of “Feng Zhao” (braised chicken feet) and “Har Gao” (prawn dumplings) I added, delivered on all counts as well.

Steamed cod fish in spicy sauce - well marinated and extremely well flavoured. Loving how the cod fish is filled with healthy fats. All the omega 3!

Love the Peking duck! Please choose beehoon to cook the left over duck. The noodles is not as nice. The egg white scallops dish is great too! My go to restaurant for Peking duck.

My idea of a perfect lazy weekend brunch.

I decided this time to try the salt and pepper fry. Loved it. Garlicky and savoury, this was finger licking good.

This being the festive season, the restaurant was expectantly rowdy and brimming with people. The number of Peking ducks served to the multiple tables went almost like a record on replay, continuously chefs came to serve the dish in flour wraps. That could be one of the reasons why the signature Peking Duck (not pictured) that day felt a little less outstanding as usual; slightly tough meat from what we guessed was an old duck. The taste from wrapping the meat with the condiments and sauce remained the same nonetheless.

Another of my favourite from the CNY Set Meal had to be the above with remarkably tender and flavourful dried oysters. While my aunt quibbled about how the items in the dishes could have been bigger, I was happy with the quality and quantity 🙃

My CNY started when I emptied a tin of home favourite love letters within 3 days in the last week of Jan. 🙊

But the first reunion dinner with my food connoisseur of Aunts was at Imperial Super Peking Duck. Starting the 8 course set menu with the Fatt Choy Smoked Salmon Yu Sheng was starting with a triumphant bang- I loved the restaurant’s prosperous Chinese salad with the interesting addition of fried yam stripes (that quickly became a key component of the Yu Sheng).

Was looking for a place to bring my girlfriend’s family for dinner, and this place is great for people who love duck and dim sum! Duck was crispy and flavourful, and the fried rice accompaniment was nice with the wok hei. Decently priced dim sum rounded of our lunch nicely.

A basic dish but done very well. Not too salty and tofu is fresh.

Very fresh dou miao sautéed in garlic. Not too oily.
