We got black tea latte with taro q 25% sugar ($4.80). I love love love taro q and the black tea latte was decent too! Potentially can choose 0% sugar next time because the taro q is slightly sweet :D
Thought this was a yam-flavoured milk tea at first, but it's actually their regular milk tea with taro pearls.
It was pretty good! The tea flavour wasn't overpowering, and the taro pearls were bouncy and had a good bite. I also liked that there were little bits of real yam amidst the taro pearls.

oh my goodness. this can a meal by itself. very very filling for me! the pearls are chewy with alot of bite. feels more healthy because there is yam inside and not purely flour? hahahahah!
What's your favourite indulgence on a hot and sunny day? The frothy milk cap foam of Koi's maachiato series was light and creamy with just about the right notes of sweetness. The black tea that follow through was refreshing and the tea mixes with the milk cap in your mouth a second later, giving you 3 sort of experiences in a sip.
Only had 15 minutes before my derm appt but I still went to queue anyway. Service was surprisingly fast though! (Like even faster than normal koi shops, I supposed they had more service staff in anticipation of the crowd) 🍴
Went with 25% matcha macchiato after reading @danielfooddiary review. Glad that I went with it. Though the koi staff kept saying "we reccomend 70%." "It will be bitter" HPB should fine food eateries for unnecessary sugar 😜 25% was just nice! Creamy matcha macchiato w a touch of bitterness. Best drunk cold and within the same hour that you bought it because the matcha powder settles after a while and it gets a bit powdery. 🤤
