You can even X2 noodles🍜🤩 for TSUKEMEN (12.90). I chose the “red” option for my broth which was flavourful and only mildly spicy. Sides we got were huge, crispy juicy fried chicken and plump gyozas🤤🤤; I couldn’t decide which I preferred between the 2!

Quite juicy, crispy and tasty.

Basically ramen with the broth separated. Their standard can't go very wrong. But the USP is still the free extra noodles, that's why mine looks big. The shaved chashu was quite bad.

The giant pork belly instead of chashu. It's okay but could be more tender lah. Black soup is garlic soup. Like most places, it's strong, therefore yummy.

Dessert: Pudding $3.90, the texture too hard and dry. It will be better if it is soft.

Unagi Toji Set $18.90 +1 Side dish is not my favor🤣For me, abit fishy.

Overall is ok

$14.90 with set

Set comes with a drink and a choice of side which I chose the steamed egg (chawanmushi). Their chawanmushi comes with braised pork (what?!) and it’s damn fragrant!! Can try! I chose thick noodles for my bowl of ramen and it goes super well with the red soup which is actually spicy pork broth soup!

I had the tsukemen while my mom and bro had the ramen and it was delicious! Loved the tonkotsu broth, which we slurped up. For the tsukemen, I’d recommend letting the noodles soak in the sauce for a few seconds rather than just dipping - this way, you get the full flavour.

Sadly, the non-noodle dishes weren’t great. My agedashi tofu was way too oily, while my dad’s karaage was nothing to shout about. His miso soup was lukewarm too.

I guess it makes sense that they’ve focused on their speciality - so if you go, make sure to get their noodles!

Menya Musashi would be a place to go whenever I wanted a Ramen overdose, because their Tsukemen allowed me to eat up to 5 times the standard portion of noodles. Their Tontoro Tsukemen Set (S$22.90) would, however, comprise up to 2 times the noodles portion, plus a side dish and a cup of tea. Tontoro would be my choice this time round, because compared to Chashu, their Tontoro had an flame-grilled aftertaste and definitely it would be less commonly found in.

Honestly speaking, if I really wanted a good bowl of ramen, the Tsukemen might not be my first choice, because the thick broth turned cold too quickly after a few rounds of dipping the cold Ramen noodles. But if my priority would be just to get my stomach filled, this might still be forgivable.

Ala carte- $14.90
Set price- $17.90 (comes with a drink and choice of side)

Finally found another place with the option of having the full bone in chicken thigh with ramen instead of cha shu!! And they have tons of other options like seafood, shabu shabu, aburi duck, aburi chicken etc. Other soup base choice includes red (spicy) and white (original pork) base.

i like the springy ramen so much! and the chasu are fresh and soft to bite. the soup is smell good once it reach infront of me and also rich in taste but not greasy. side snacks are just ok, well.

Suddenly finals seemed like a long, long time ago lol. I guess time really flies when you're having fun! 🎉🎊

This is amazing. I like the white soup very ❤ very much although it is a bit salty to me. The noodle portion is very big , I passed half to my friend!

Spring Special, Sakura Cha Shu Tsukemen, the noodles had Sakura paste kneaded into them hence the light pink, the garlic dipping sauce had a sprig of pickled Sakura flowers too, unfortunately the sauce was room temp and not warm at all... #burpple

Musashi cha shu ramen with its signature über black soup! Their soup is very thick and rich :)

Tom yum tontoro maze noodles. One of the best ramen I've ever had! Noodles super qq and the sauce had my mouth burning! Two thumbs up! 👍👍
