Nice dim sum, but can skip porridge. Eatigo

This was quite yummy! The liushabao is baked, so it has that sweet, slightly crisp crust (like the ones from timhowan & canton paradise). The liusha filling is molten and threatens to spill out with each bite, and the consistency & flavour was quite nice to me - it’s sweet and buttery and thick and slightly grainy (I am partial to both grainy / smooth liushas). It’s a bit big, and a tad sweet bc of the top sugar crust, but it’s good and I would order this again!

Family gatherings call for dim sum feasts at this classic spot along Maxwell Road. Boasting an extensive menu with over 100 items to pick from, you'll be spoilt for choice here. Pork lovers, don't hesitate on the intensely umami and porky Spicy Congee in Mixed Treasures ($10) or the juicy and crispy Roasted Pork ($16). If you're a fan of salted egg yolk, the signature Salted Egg Yolk Bun ($5.80) with a perfectly savoury-sweet filling is a must-get.

The standout item here is the salted egg yolk custard bun 流沙包。the rest of the items are more run of the mill stuff.

This was the starter for burpple set menu, it was pathetic and so expensive and appalling. I advice people never to purchase the overpriced set menu which was extremely disappointing.

On the pricier side but definitely sufficient to satisfy ur dimsum cravings. Siewmai and custard buns were great. They didn’t let me use #burpplebeyond ytd claiming it is cny period..

One more photo because you really gotta see how these babies look on the inside. I struggled so hard to take this photo as the molten salted egg lava was threatening to spill over anytime!! It requires some self control to not immediately lunge at this when it just arrives at your table but it’ll certainly pay off because you don’t wanna burn your tongue with the EXPLODING liu sha (yes, not exaggerating, it really explodes) 😂

Although this dish doesn’t fare so well in terms of presentation, don’t underestimate how good baked liu sha bao can be!!! 🤗 These buns had the perfect salted egg filling to bun skin ratio and I really liked that the skin was buttery and crispy enough to contain loads of filling!

Perhaps you could say this is just a bowl of char kway teow because it really taste almost the same.

Comes with lots of taugeh and fried egg. You could actually taste the XO sauce and everything well very well with it. $9.80++

Never got the chance to visit their outlet in China Square Central, before they moved to current new location at Air View Building, along Maxwell Road.

The new space is much smaller than the former space. Came during lunch time for their dim sum items.

This prawn spring rolls have a.m very crunchy skin wrapped with lots of prawn inside. Do remember to ask for mayonise sauce to accompany it. $5.40++

Tried one of mouth restaurant's signature dim sum- liu sha bao. The salted egg custard lava was like liquid gold flowing out of the crispy crusted bun. Very rich with salted egg. You can perceived the butter and sweetness from their custard too. Can't help but wonder if it is made of condensed milk?

The best dish of our dim sum lunch at mouth restaurant. The skin of the roasted pork was thick, flavoursome and cackling crispy. There was sufficient fat in between the thick layers of meat so that it wasn't too dry or too surfeit. Definitely one of the best roasted porks that I have had thus far.

My fave dim sum of mouth restaurant and it's what makes me go back all the time. It's one of the few places that sells crispy carrot cake that is crunchy and yet still soft and flavourful on the inside.9/10 for me

Having a dim sum spread at Mouth Restaurant. Recommend you guys to to get the siew mai and salted egg yolk pau which couldn’t stop oozing to complete your experience 😂

So darn good! We wished there was more of this, super fragrant and not too oily as well

One of our faves from the set. They definitely didn't stinge on the wine and herbs

Very very tender thin slices of wagyu as expected but the charred green onions is where it's at. Rather oily but very savoury and slightly sweet. Apart from the texture of the beef nothing too fancy tho

Got mislead into ordering this from the amazing description but u can't even taste the prawn and pork inside. Not to say there isn't but it just taste like a slightly meaty white char kway Yeow lol.
