Burgers at $10 to $20 may sound rather common place but it was a strange if not foreign concept when Relish entered the scene with their gourmet burgers back when I was in school.

Located at Cluny Court, it was one of THE places we went to for special occasions but kinda fell out of vogue with the emergence of other gourmet burger joints like Omakase burger, PBD etc.

I was back there recently with some colleagues. We shared some pastas, a donburi and fish and chips amongst the 4 of us. The quality of the food is decent but the portions were really disappointing. There was basically enough for a mouthful (or two) for each person.

I am one of those who hate to leave a meal, still hungry. Unfortunately, @relish_sg does that.

Beer Battered Fish and Chips that are well fried and seasoned, event though I prefer it a bit saltier. Love the crispy fish, and the umami fries (aka. fries with bonito and furikake) that complements the fish well. Staff are quite attentive and friendly, even though some of them would chat with each other at the dining area.

Fried oysters, omelette in spicy dried shrimp chilli spaghetti. This is a more Asian fusion kind of dish. Suits the local taste more.

For a place specialising in burgers - this didnโ€™t stand out .

The burger patty was hard and dry and tough.

Need major overhaul and improvement .

You get exactly what the name states. Rich, sinful and just so comforting for truffle and cream pasta lovers!

Always going back for more. And of course their burgers too!

(Please share! It gets a little too much after awhile but I still always order this when Iโ€™m there)

La Petite Cuisine has rebranded to La Petite French Bistro. The food doesn't taste as good as when we had it a few years ago unfortunately, wouldnt really consider it value for money any longer. Rice was overcooked and mushy, taste of the tuna seasoning was also too strong on the smokey chilli oil. The creme brulee we ordered in the set meal was also unfortunately one of the worst i've ever had. Would sadly no longer recommend this.

For their burgers, you can pick either a side of salad, fries, or a half-&-half of both!

This was the most tender and fatty char siew Iโ€™ve had in my life ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. Pulls apart so easily, the soft and juicy meat coated with a sweet bbq char siew sauce that had a deep flavour. It sat atop a slice of foccacia bread coated with butter and mayo. However, I thought the bread to be a bit too soft, almost soggy, possibly from the amount of butter used. It took away from the dish and didnโ€™t serve to balance the soft meat well.
