Good deal for a limited time. This has katsu, cheese roll, ebi, oyster and crab cream croquette.

Easy to like. Some of the skin also came with meat haha.

It's halal here so we had to try chicken. This is paired with leek. At least it's substantial, but why so salty!

Maybe it's age. When I was younger I loved nabe. Now the assortment of ingredients doesn't excite me as much.

Sashimi very fresh but the beef stew is tough. Price on the high side.

you can choose to get a spicy or clear base!! but this one wasn’t really spicy, kind of like kimchi level? there was a lot of ingredients!! this was v comforting to eat esp if you sit indoors because the aircon is really strong HAHA

I'm not very sure why I ordered tonkatsu at a grilled pork restaurant. Bellota is their top grade. The cutlets are kinda small, but given there are two types, I'll forgive them. They're both just okay. The miso soup was unusual as it had shabu inside.

We're back but the girlfriend didn't want the signature cuts and ordered this. The char siew sweetness made me feel like she should've gone to their sister brand Tun Xiang instead lol.

Left: Angus Striploin Steak Jyu @ $16.80
Right: GO-star Jyu @ $20.80
+ set containing seaweed soup, truffle chawanmushi and salad @ $5.30

We got excited about the collab with Ghib Ojisan and wanted to give it a try. Had to order delivery as this is not available for dine-in.

The angus striploin steak jyu comes with angus striploin steak and beef in ginger soy sauce. The former was a bit bland and had to try it with various sauces. It's also a bit on the tough and chewy side. The latter was great and flavourful.

The go-star jyu comes with beef short plate, beef boneless short rib, angus ribeye steak and beef tongue. While there's lots of variety, similarly, the meat was a bit overcooked and a bit tough.

The truffle chawanmushi that came with the set was the star of the meal. The truffle taste was really coming through and goes super well with the dish.

Overall still quite a good meal and would prefer to dine in the next round.
