It really does not worth going there even with the beyond deals. With the deals it is gonna be $20 per pax. Sides dishes are prepared badly and roughly (a whole garlic! And the garlic tip wasnt even chope off for the slices).
Meats are even worse. Beef are stuck together and even scissors canât cut it apart haha. Our stoves spoiled half way through the meal, and the black grill paper kept getting onto the meat. It really doesnât worth đ°20 dollars per pax AFTER 1f1, so save your time and choose another restaurant to eat mate!
Had high hopes for this KBBQ seeing that numerous people wish listed this place but left disappointed.
All the meat tasted the same. Some pork were powdery.
Sauces were not great.
We kept expecting it to get better but it never did :|
my girlfriend gagged.
Came here for lunch ($25.80) on a weekday and there were only 2 tables eating.
The good thing about this shop is the fact that you can choose 3 soups, however only the chicken and pork broth are free. The rest of the soup will be an additional $3 or more each. I opted for tomyum and laksa. I love tomyum so when I had my first sip, I was disappointed. The tomyum somehow was lacking. It was not as flavourful as other hotpot shops and was on the oily side. Laksa however was good, mildly spicy with the taste of the coconut milk coming through. Pork broth surprisingly was light and good as well.
Variety-wise I would say they offer quite a lot, more then 50 types of items. We tried their pork, beef and mutton. Pork was good, with a good amount of fat. Beef was ok, wish there was more fats. Mutton was slightly tough but did not have a strong smell at all.
Their seafood the clams and scallop came slightly frozen with ice and had a slightly not so nice seafood taste.
They also offer sumiri, beancurd, eggs, mushrooms and vegetables which I won't mention.
I also opted for free flow of drinks and ice cream (+$4). They offer fruit punch which was good, not too sweet with a carrot-y taste. Rose which is Bandung but without the milk and blueberry. For ice cream there's coconut, cookies and cream, chocolate, mint and strawberry.
Overall this place offers a good variety of food where you'll have something that you would like. For me it was the cookies and cream ice cream.
Overall is good except the prawn.
No complaints at this price for weekend lunch buffet ($18), just be careful when walking inside the restaurant and do check whether the ventilation ald switched on.
decent meal! service staff were very friendly and served us quickly :) the standard of the meat really surprised me as it was consistently good. one drawback was that the place had fans blowing everywhere so it was a bit tough to keep the food warm, also the grill took a while(arnd 20 mins) to heat up and the worker had trouble switching it on/off so it was a bit annoying to wait for it for so long. but overall a great experience, with the 1 for 1 deal this buffet is definitely worth a shot !
This is the place to go if you want a wide selection of marinated meat. You are spoilt for choices! Staff was prompt when taking the order. The place isnât well ventilated so get ready for a smoky experience and smell like kbbq afterwards. Another downside is that the place is oily - tables and utensils so rmb to clean it before use.
Please make a reservation before going.
$40 for 2 person w Beyond
Came in with 2 pax at around 3.40pm with many empty tables - staffâs responded rudely that if there wasnât 6 pax we couldnât eat there with no attempt at any solution.
Would never patronise Onepot again.
A wide spread of meat and stuff. Staff was friendly and nice too!
Lots of meat variety. Service staff was very polite too.
Cons: everything was so oily, floor, chair and table
Because of the situation now we canât take the ingredients ourselves so the auntie who works there had to help us take our orders. I guess she didnât want to make so many rounds because sheâs working alone so she gave us a really huge portion of meat hahaha. The soup bases I ordered (pork, tomato and mala) were not bad! Theyâre very flavourful. Ingredients wise, just normal I guess.
Came here because of the burpple 1 for 1 deal and it was really worth it! The menu has many unique choices, which you canât find in other KBBQ places, such as lychee pork belly, bak kwa pork belly and many more! The food is also pretty decent! I highly recommend the black pepper fish and garlic pork belly, it was a hot favourite for my party. The buffet also comes with icecream and there were 8 flavours (if I recall correctly), which was a nice touch to end the meal off!
The only bad thing is that the place is a little smokey and the floors are quite oily, but it didnât really bother us. Overall, a great value for money meal and will definitely go again!
The food here isnât spectacular and itâs honestly nothing to shout about, but its price point, especially since itâs buffet-style, makes it pretty attractive. They have a surprisingly extensive array of ingredients to choose from and while the quality isnât as up there as HDL or Beauty in the Pot, itâs substantial enough. They have free flow xiao long bao as well, but we donât really recommend it unless youâre a really unfussy eater. Okay, time to go back to work and stop thinking of hotpot đ
