Having Korean BBQ @potaddictionsg is simply not enough time to eat during the 90 min time limit.🕘
Firstly, the grill is kinda slow in producing heat. Tho it's good to have a parchment paper on top of the grill to absorb the fats. Meat cut were thick which is good but also bad because the grill heat is just too slow even at max level.😅 So we need to constantly wait, cook and eat non-stop and takes up quite a great amount of time.🤪
I like their meat marination, its thoroughly well-coated inside out thus producing fragrance succulent meat when cooked. Those beautiful meat is just appealing.🥩 Sliced lamb too gamey for grill.
Seafood tho were frozen so need to defrost a while then can cook.
Lettuce were fresh and crunchy. Kimchi was just alright to my taste. I like the pickled radish too. Garlic and onion is a must to have and I love how they give a loads of it. Oh... Don't get their corn salad, too frozen.
Next, ordered their cooked food too, but none of it arrived.😢 Was hoping to get a taste of their Korean pancake , fried rice, smoked tea duck and braised pork but they didn't come. It's okay cause the table is too small to fit those in if it were to come.
Lastly, I will suggest having Hotpot will be a better option if you want your food to cook faster. Hope next time can try their cooked food too.😶

When East meets West: Seafood Hor fun x Iced Mocha

First try. Lunch with colleagues here and I've chosen this dish. It is good. Their service is fast too. Their menu have Western and Chinese local cuisine. Quite a surprise but there's a lot to choose from. Great!

This restaurant, @duitsg, is nestled in a quiet tranquil part of Sembawang and is a great place for quick yet quiet lunch.

At $12.90++ for students and senior citizens on weekdays lunch, this is definitely one of the cheapest deal I can get to fill my stomach at a wallet-friendly price. However, do note that the price is only valid for BBQ; having a hotpot requires a top-up of $12 (max 4 pax to 1 hotpot). There's the usual selection of Korean-styled marinated meats and cooked food, and a cooler of typical steamboat ingredients like tofu and meatballs. What is more special about this place is the DIY sauce bar like HDL's, a toaster where you can heat up tortilla wraps to go with your BBQ meats, a choice to top up $3 for a bowl of cheese, and other top-up options for mookata and premium selection of other meats. So... if you're in for something better then the food may not be affordable afterall 😂

Nonetheless, for that price, I must say that the marinated meats were tasty and the service was warm. But the steamboat was typical and nothing to rave about.
