Had opted for the chicken version, which was expertly mixed with the flaky prata, onions, and spices.
The curry adds a rich, slightly sour, and spicy kick that elevates the entire experience.
To complete the meal, just sipped on a refreshing cup of Teh Halia (ginger tea), which helped to balance the spiciness.
A satisfying and delicious meal that's a must-try for kothu prata fans!
Beancurd with tapica cube ! so chewy the tapioca cube and very smooth beancurd
Creme Brulle with an Asian twist
.
Using cempedak custard and topped with cempedak slices.
.
The sugar crust was a bit of a let down even though it's one of the few restaurants that use actual cempedak custard and actual cemepdak flesh
Aside from roti prata, the butter chicken and garlic naan are my to-order dishes. The oven-baked garlic naan was fragrant and yummy. The butter chicken comes with tender chunks of chicken in thick and well-flavoured masala. It was so good that I couldn't help but dip the naan and prata to go with masala.
Garlic Naan 》$3.50
Butter Chicken 》$8.50
Crispy plain prata served with curry and sambal tumis is a great combination. The prata are freshly prepared upon order and fried in a pool of oil which results in a crispy and fluffy prata. The exteriors are crackling crispy with soft and fluffy fillings inside which makes fork tearing the prata so easy. I would easily say this is one of the best roti prata especially in the east 👍
Getting a table might be a challenge during the peak hours and it can be crowded especially at night but the wait was all worth it!
Plain Prata 》$1.10/pc
Been buying this almost everyday for my fam. Some days there is a lady who seems very grumpy and slow, so if the queue is too long I’ll just leave.
Recent buy, she put all her fingers into the cups ( I ordered 3) to hold them before pouring and dumped a whole load of sugar syrup (almost half the cup?). Abit gross since it’s covid AND she just accepted cash from the pervious custie.
As a frequent customer, maybe they can improve on their service and hygiene. But drinks and food r great.

Tasty plate of Mee Goreng with Mutton.
Moist soft mutton cube really brings out the moment of enjoying this common item.
Also cup of iced cool milk tea to complete it.
Yummy!
Having portuguese egg tart 😋👍love the extra flackiness of the egg tart and the creamy filling. Great to pair it with their hot or cold soya bean 🤤@selegiesoyabeanofficial

Love their soya bean , freshly made on the day. Ordered red bean soya bean ($2.20) and bandung soya bean ($2). Not too sweet 🤗👍They sell dessert, muffin , beancurd and egg tart 😋😋
The service was supposed to be fast, but I waited so Long for my briyani because they forgot my order.. which was a disappointment considering how there were not many people in the shop. I couldn’t have taken a more appealing photo as they served the briyani in this usual metal bowl, and then a random white plate to pour it out and just a small, pretty pathetic bowl of curry that was not spicy. I asked for additional fish curry to add more spiciness to my dish. The chicken was also oddly lacking Color, I understand some stores soak their chicken in the curries which gives it their iconic red Color, but this was yellowing and stale looking, making it slightly unappetizing. I would come back to this store for their more well known and famous crispy pratas, or even their nasi/maggi/kuay teow goreng (it looked really good from the other table😂).

I was a little sad when the teh tarik was served without the foamy finish at the top, making it quite indicative of how the tea wasn’t pulled at all. I love to order teh tarik for the art of tea pulling and the foamy beginning when you drink it. I also ordered less sugar (especially because it is always VERY sweet) but this felt like no sugar at all, which really ruined the drink.

Coin Prata comes in a set of 6, with mutton cubes. The Coin Prata is crispy and chewy inside. Although the mutton curry is fragrance, the potion is way too little. I only managed to find 3 small pieces of mutton cubes. Personally find the Coin Prata w/ Mutton Curry overpriced.
