i picked Tracy’s Favourite Salad ($20) mainly because it had the longest line of ingredients HAHAHA but i loved that there’s kale (my fav salad base for greens) and the sesame avo, hummus and pumpkin seed dukkah yumzzz

Saw that the matcha powder is from matchaya couldn't help but ordered. Rich and smooth, one cup definitely wasn't enough.

Roasted peppers-apricot-almond couscous, broccoli, dill-mustard cream sauce. This tasted a little weird as the sauce covered the whole taste of salmon. The sauce was a bit too overwhelming for me hence this is not something I would order again.

I like the ambience of the cafe, surrounded by luscious greeneries and garden setting, it’s quite pretty at night. Good to chill and perfect place for casual dating.

The steak was tender (asked for medium rare), yes it’s my default option. And the fries quite ok, better if they fried with truffle oil. All in all, good year end evening 2020 spent at Prive Chijmes.

Really such a beautiful place to dine in😍

Roasted half chicken - Chicken was juicy and tender, and the sauce was very flavourful!

Linguine mushroom carbonara - Generous serving of mushrooms and cream sauce :)

We ordered a 10-inch stone-baked pizza, which comes in two flavours of our choice, namely Spicy Meat Lover ($11) and Margherita ($10). I love that we can try two flavours at one go:) The crust is quite thin and each flavour is oozing with melted cheese. I didn’t find the Spicy Meat Lover very spicy, but the chorizo and salami gives it a nice smokey edge.

Overall, the food at Prive is quite good and the price is surprisingly reasonable. The service at CHIJMES is quite good too:)

I am not a big fan of creamy pasta as I find some too heavy for my liking, but I enjoyed the Linguine Mushroom ‘Carbonara’ ($18). The generous serving of mushrooms goes well with the cashew cream sauce and cashew parmesan. I like that the sauce is smooth, not too thick and has a nutty undertone that helps keep that jelakness at bay.

Overall, the food at Prive is quite good and the price is surprisingly reasonable. The service at CHIJMES is quite good too:)

My favourite dish of the day is Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Roasted Pork Belly ($21). The al dente spaghetti is tossed in olive oil with sundried tomatoes, bacon, garlic and chilli, and topped with 4 slabs of roasted pork belly with crackling skin. The sauce is spicy and flavourful, and the crispy roasted pork belly adds a nice crunch to it.

Overall, the food at Prive is quite good and the price is surprisingly reasonable. The service at CHIJMES is quite good too:)

Privé at Chijmes has such a lovely ambience with the gorgeous lawn and fairy lights - a great place to catch up and chill with a few friends 😌

The aglio olio with roast pork belly that I had was good, though just a tad more oily than what I would have liked. We also ordered Japanese-themed nachos (Nihon Nachos) to share and it was really interesting! Tasted like curry puff pastry, but I like it 😂

Was in time for their Happy Hour too so we had some classic mojitos🍸 All in all, a good evening. Cheers 🥂

Served with house-made butterscotch, walnuts and vanilla ice cream.

This felt like a salad I would get at a free flow salad bar, because it contains sooo much ingredients! There’s a huge variety of vegetables, such as baby spinach, kale, broccoli, purple cabbage, pumpkin, cucumber etc. and it had quinoa, smashed avocado and hummus too! The pomegranate seeds and cashew nuts added a nice crunch. This was really filling and I like how every bite was different as there’s so many textures and flavours in a single dish.

This was pretty yummy! Loved the different flavours and textures going on in this bowl. Worth a try, but would not go back just for it again!! But still good!!! Loved the atmosphere and vibe here and the staff were really nice

$15++ // AMAZING AND I AM IN LOVE WITH IMPOSSIBLE MEAT 😍😍😍😍 it has the same texture as beef (which i rly missed) but without the meaty/bloody taste that i always tasted when i used to eat actual beef, so this was great cos i get to eat “beef” without feeling any guilt!! + it’s very environmentally friendly too so all the better :-))) and this dish had a very earthy/mushroom-y taste to it, not sure if it was from the sauce or the meat but overall a great dish!!

rly love prive for its gorgeous restaurant decor (this one was a garden/outdoor setting with a backdrop of fairy lights which made it so magical) and high quality food. i also tried the chili crab pasta, chili & lime salmon, truffled mushroom pizza, oreo mudpie and hummingbird cake (what a mass consumption kind of day, come to think of it) and all the dishes were really amazing as well in terms of taste, quality, flavor combinations and texture. despite the relatively steep prices, i can’t wait to come back for more!!

The beef patty was juicy and quite substantial, cooked to the right degree at medium. Accompanied with thick cut fries and rocket leaves at the side.

One of the best chilli crab pastas I've ever had!! And that says a lot, because I'm such a fan of this fusion dish! The crab meat was fresh and pretty generous, and I love the chilli crab sauce which is very similar to the original dish - thick, slightly spicy and just the right sweetness. Would defo order this again!

Privé [pre-vay] stands for a secret, and its like a secret garden with fairy lights for tinkling glasses, flowing conversations and laughter.

Had the Impossible Meatball Spaghetti - and happy to see how the impossible/beyond meats are sweeping across all these restaurants.

A plant-based patty (mostly soy) can replace our protein but it is still high in saturared fats. Nevertheless i like how earthy and mushroomy it tastes. May be hype now but hope its a lil better for our environment.

Topped with poached egg and cheese, this pizza is really to die for!!! Can't wait to go back to devour the entire pizza myself instead of sharing!! 😭

They gave us a complimentary slice of cake for my birthday. The desserts here are pretty decent, love the ice cream especially. But wasn’t a fan of the bread from the sandwich, was quite stale and dense at the parts not torched with sauce. We cleared everything except it! 😋 This is a very suitable place for a birthday dinner.
