Hope everyone had a great Mid-autumn festival celebration🥮! This year, we tried the Raffles Hotel Champagne Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake, which boasts a luxurious flavour combination - White lotus paste with a White Chocolate Champagne Truffle core. Not too sweet and the champagne flavour was pretty strong🥂. However, we were not really fans of the snow skin. It was nice and soft but had a taste that we felt did not go well with the filling. Our expectations were too high and unfortunately the mooncake didn't live up to it.🥺

Mid-Autumn Festival is just around the corner, but it’s not yet late to try this from Raffles’ mooncake selection!

Was gifted with this lovely mooncake with a perfect taste contrast and texture from the double yolk, with macadamia nuts and white lotus

The mooncake matches with the timeless box design as well 💕

It’s the mooncake season again! Kickstarting this year’s with the well-beloved Raffles Hotel’s snow-skin mooncakes.

Alongside the signature Champagne Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake, the hotel has introduced 2 new flavours - Sakura & Raspberry and Yam & Coconut Rum. Also returning this year are the flavours of Yuzu & Osmanthus and Baileys Chocolate. The design of the tin is gorgeous!

Mooncake season is back! Raffles Hotel continues their annual creations of handcrafted snow-skin mooncakes with 2 fun new flavours - Baileys Chocolate Truffle ($86), and Butterfly Pea Gin with Pandan and Lemongrass ($118) - a collaboration with Brass Lion Distillery as tribute to the hotel’s 135th anniversary.

Other returning flavours this year are the Earl Grey Tea and Pearl ($86) - earl grey tea-infused milk chocolate ganache and dark chocolate coated puff cereal pearls, Yuzu and Osmanthus Truffle ($86), and the signature Champagne Truffle ($88) that I know are many of my friends’ favourite! It has white lotus seed paste and a core of white chocolate truffle spiked with champagne.

Reservations are open from now till 21 Aug on their website, or pop by their Raffles Mooncake Booth at North Bridge Road Atrium in Raffles Singapore from now till 10 Sept for walk-in purchases.

A mouth watering wagyu steak that is a must have here! While they have a whole lot of meat options to choose from, this wagyu steak comes with MBS 7, so the marbling gives this the perfect level of fattiness and it is so tender and flavorful.

Pro tip: order the al pastor corn tacos and separate the tortillas to make yourself two tacos. These remind me of street tacos in LA!

The champagne truffle snow-skin mooncake was first hand-crafted by the hotel’s chefs in the 1990s and features delicate truffles made with white chocolate shells filled with champagne-infused cream. Each truffle is sheathed with a premium white lotus seed paste, then blanketed in an ivory-toned glutinous rice skin 》$78/8pcs

There’s just something about Singapore Coffee. Nestled within Singapore's Grand Old Dame, Raffles Hotel, this coffee shop offers a setting, a particular aura that’s inviting and cozy. The eye-catching design aesthetic, the buzzing of the espresso machine, the perfectly calibrated coffee grinder going round and round, and the aromas that fill the air. Did I mention the Kopi Shake is absolutely yum?

A fruity and refreshing treat with mango tinged with yuzu oozing out from within a white chocolate ball. The avocado taste is very light.

$54.40 (AFTER 20% discount, only at chevron house). Used to buy this every year, almost 10 years ago, until they increased price and the champagne taste just wasn't quite as strong anymore. So this year we decided to give them a try again finally but NOPE nothing changed. while it was not bad, it doesn't seem $54.40-worth (imagine if I had bought it at $68 from the hotel?!?!?!) . The snow skin was sooooo soft and barely champagne taste, slightttttly on the sweet side. I'll just stick to Home's Favourite.

- The aromatic Lucknowi Murgh Biryani is a must-order. The basmati rice so impressively light yet full-flavoured with spices. Also comes with generous studded with tender chicken chunks.
- Tiffin Dal Makhani, with its rich, soft and creamy notes, was an instant crowd-favourite of the fam. Great with their Naans, or even on its own.
- My personal pick is the hearty Macher Jhol, a barramundi dish made vibrant with ginger, onions and Indian spices.

Decided to try raffles hotel snowskin mooncakes this year! Got the new flavour - avocado yuzu mango ($57 after 25% discount!) I must say the flavour and taste are super light! I can barely taste any avocado flavour. I’ve been feasting on mooncakes a lot more this year (not complaining) thanks to generous souls around me😊Featuring Pine Nuts, Macadamia Nuts and White Lotus Paste mooncake from @RafflesHotelSingapore. Honestly, there isn’t a lot of nuts and thus it just tastes like plain white lotus paste mooncake instead. Nevertheless, I welcome mooncake anytime.

although the whole hotel under reno, they made a space for the mooncake pop up store. been getting this flavour from them like almost 10 yrs liao. a classic which never disappoints. i like it. the girl loves it. did not taste too alcholy to me. the texture of the skin was chewy and nice. @raffleshotelsingapore can heads up for the early bird promo bo? every year i keep failing to save those %. anybody tried the new acai flavour yet? thinking to try that one next after we(she) polish(es) off the remaining 3 cakes. the nice box was a bonus too.
