More Reviews of good food at Miharu (Millenia Walk)

Those people in early days would familiar with this Sapporo style ramen place.

Sapporo Ramen Miharu used to be at former Gallery Hotel before moving to Millenia Walk, and closed earlier.

Moving forward to present day, they actually came back once again. Recently Meidi-Ya brought them back under their new food court at Millenia Walk.

So now you could continue to enjoy their signature ramen, like the one I gotten; which is no.1 item on the menu for the past 25 years.

This authentic flavours of Sapporo ramen was very tasty and rich taste of miso broth. Filled with lots of ingredients such as the egg, sliced pork and corns.

Miharu boasts an extensive selection of ramen bases - I was spoilt for choice. I eventually chose seafood shoyu ramen while my friend picked fish shoyu ramen.

Perhaps my order was confused with my friend’s, but the seafood shoyu ramen tasted heavily of bonito whereas the fish ramen was much lighter.

I ended up swapping ramen bowls with my friend bc I preferred her lighter soup. I was a tad disappointed - I saw alot of reviews praising their food, but I thought it was pretty average. For their price point ($17-18), I could’ve tried places with better quality.

Nonetheless, I still finished the entire bowl. A plus point would be their egg - a perfectly molten center with a salty touch from it’s marination.

$18! Ramen was packed with garlic fragrance and soup was very rich. Noodles stayed firm throughout the meal. This new ramen is definitely worth a try!

The dipping sauce was amazing. Usually sauces are just too jelat for me but this was was refreshing! Highly recommend this!

Really nice place. Ambience of the restaurant is good. Although the soup was a little salty for me, waiters were extremely friendly and advised me that I could ask for less salt next time. Definitely going back!

New item on the menu! Translated as Black Garlic Oil Ramen. As a garlic lover this is a welcome addition to the already amazing ramen choices at Miharu. While the main ingredients are largely the same as their signatures, the broth is the difference here. Worth a try!

It's 18 cos the noodles are much thicker and really chewy. The miso and tonkotsu come together to produce this weird but strangely not unpleasant taste. It's somehow redolent of chicken soup though and I really found it very comforting.

New item on the menu that they were promoting. Broth was slightly thin but the gArlic taste was strong.

Soup wasn't as thick as I had anticipated but it's still good. The 2 pieces of charsiu were very soft and the noodles were slightly chewy yet soft enough. Generous portion

Tokusen tonshio $17.50. I couldn't save any soup to dilute with broth. The noodles are the same as when it was at Gallery Hotel.. Ie bouncy with the perfect bite.

This might just be the best ramen I've had so far. Wow. Just wow. 😋

Decided to come here after reading more about it on Burpple. Got the number 13 special ramen - listed as one of the chef recommendation. Broth is bright and rich, and love the springy yellow noodles! (7.9/10)

A nice hot bowl of hearty ramen 🍜
The rich pork broth with a hint of sweetness from the corn makes this dish one of my favourite.
What really stands out is the egg ramen noodles flown from Hokkaido and left to cure in controlled temperature at the restaurant. It’s springy and chewy texture, soaks up the soup really well.

Chancing-upons always bring the nicest surprises. The cosy stall at the ground level of Millenia Walk definitely prides itself as one of the most authentic ramen place in sg. And i believe one of the reasons for its nice ramen is the supervision of the diligent owner, also their Chef, Abe. Already my second time here this month.

One thing you will notice when walking in is that there were quite a number of Japanese patrons with empty bowls in front of them. That's a really good sign of an authentic ramen stall that does it well. I order #9 which was a shoyu ramen (I think) and the noodles were well cooked and the broth was slightly saltier than expected but the corn and bamboo shoots gave it a nice balance. One of the better ramen places around!

In my opinion, Miharu serves the best ramen in Singapore. They've been so consistent since I've discovered them when they were still at Robertson Quay. The broth is always served pipping hot, and the ramen in its springy perfection. I really appreciate the basic things done well. I highly recommend #2 (Miso) & #13 (Tonkotsu Shio hybrid). If you need something more hot weather friendly, you can always go for their Tsukemen!

The tsukemen was really good. I ordered the citrus soy sauce. Noodles were Q, dipping soup was delicious. I couldn't really taste the citrus flavor but it was good nonetheless. The tsukemen noodles were so chewy that the miso ramen with fried garlic oil seemed nuah by comparison. The shiso gyoza were so juicy! I spurted juice everywhere. So wasted. Then I decided to cram the whole piece into my mouth to save the juice. Ended up burning my tongue. I dunno what to do anymore.

🍴We are real ramen lovers and we think that the ramen at this joint is really decent. Broth is properly flavourful, and overall an enjoyable meal. Note however that the noodles are on the slightly thicker and harder side and that the pork is not as melt-in-your-mouth as desired. ⭐️ 3.5/5 ⭐️
📍Sapporo Ramen Miharu, 9 Raffles Boulevard, #01-06, Milennia Walk S039596 (near Promenade MRT)

Plump, crunchy beansprouts and equally crunchy strands of jellyfish are tossed together in a spicy sesame oil dressing. Goes damn well with any order of ramen here. Or from anywhere for that matter.

This was a tad too strong in garlic taste but it was good nonetheless.
