To extend the popularity of their signature salted egg wok-fried slipper lobster, The Square Restaurant has thought out of the box and came up with several exciting salted egg dishes in their buffet line. For the month of July and August, fans of the golden egg will get to enjoy a limited selection of salted egg creations such as the Salted Egg Slipper Lobster, Salted Egg Mac & Cheese or take a dip in the luscious golden salted egg fountain where you can shower skewers of meat, deep fried chicken wings, fish nuggets and more in it.

The salted egg buffet is available from Sunday to Thursday from 6pm-10pm dinnertime. Prices start from $29++ for a child to $58++ for an adult.

The lunch buffet offered here is undeniably a cut above the rest; just the sight of the highlights - comprising seafood on ice, a giant cheese wheel, lamb carving station and an array of desserts - is sufficient to make one drool! Furthermore, in addition to the famed durian pengat and in line with the Christmas festivities, the dessert table included a moist chocolate log cake and gingerbread men on skewers. Thanks to the bf for the pre-Christmas treat to my mom (and I tagged along, wahahhaha)! The selection here is small but the standard of the food is decent especially for a buffet.
Best of all, they have senior citizen discount plus 20% credit card promo so it was only $129 for 3 pax ($43 per pax) for a weekend Christmas festive buffet with turkey etc. Very affordable!
