The grilled veggies give it a touch of smokiness and it's served with generous slices of sourdoughโฃ๏ธ Coffee is on the milky side

(Hot - $6.50) I felt that it was quite milky texture tbh and mild taste for matcha. I wanted to try their matcha latte for a long time until now. It took me a while.

Very quiet on a Tuesday night with only a handful of tables - perfect for those who want some peace and quiet in the bustling City Hall area! We had the Golden Waffle with a scoop of ice cream, which the staff - Jing - recommended Yuzu Yoghurt. And it was so good! She was so nice and let us try a few flavours; also recommended the Almond Financier waffle which I am seriously considering returning to try. The only downside would be the price point, $17.99 in total is pretty steep :(

Went to The Glasshouse 2 weeks ago and ordered their Avocado Dukkah & Over-easy Egg Tartine with Chicken ($25), their Breakfast Bagel ($18), Basque Burnt Cheesecake ($9), Mocha ($7), and their Black Cold Brew ($8.50)!๐Ÿ˜‡ Refer to my next post for the dessert image!

Overall ratings 8/10! Place was pretty crowded n popular but food and drinks were just decent, the cheesecake was good though!๐Ÿ˜‹

Opted for a white ($5.50) using their Guatemalan beans. A single shot is a tad weak for me with a rather milky flavour, the hints of apple and caramel barely coming through.

Thought this sweet potato chilli chicken bowl ($18++) may get jelat quick but it was enjoyable throughout! Loved the mix of textures and contrast of flavours from roasted sweet potatoes, mashed avocado with lime and spiced baked chickpeas. Wish there were more tomatoes - so juicy and sweet! Chicken was a little dry but surprisingly tender with a beautiful char and savoury marinate.

The breakfast burger ($16++) is a hearty choice - brioche potato buns are stacked high with bacon, hash brown and fried egg. Really creamy with the inclusion of avocados and I loved the slight spicy kick from the tomato relish!

๐ŸŽ‚ Basque Burnt Cheesecake $8++
It was really good! Definitely worth trying out if youโ€™re there and craving something sweet. Itโ€™s the only cake on the menu and itโ€™s definitely worth trying ๐Ÿคฉ

Overall, the place has a really nice ambience! Really relaxed and laid back. There was nothing exceptionally outstanding about the food but if youโ€™re in the area, itโ€™s a nice place to visit nonetheless. I didnโ€™t manage to try their coffee tho so I may be back to try that soon ๐Ÿ˜‹

The truffle tater tots were average, not overly oily but lacked the wow flavour as well. Truffle taste was mild as well.

Brunch essentials๐Ÿชด The Avocado & Egg Toast ($16) from @theglasshousesg features smashed avocado and humus on a piece of toasted sourdough bread topped with a runny seared egg, feta cheese, nuts, chilli crisps and a drizzle of chilli oil. The fragrance of the chilli oil elevates the creamy avocado and the end product is really delicious - so good!

Flat white with oat milk.

Coffee was nutty and not acidic which is the kind I like. Gonna try their food next time.

Would love the matcha to be stronger. Coffee was strong, not acidic when mixed with the matcha. Definitely a good place to chill with friends.

We ordered Truffle Tater Tots ($13) to share - the bite-size hash browns are drizzled in white truffle oil with a generous sprinkle of parmigiano reggiano cheese and chives. The crispy hash browns are delicious and aromatic - canโ€™t stop once you start on this.

Had a lovely Christmas brunch at The Glasshouse๐ŸŽ„! We ordered Hummus Sharing Platter ($24) and it came with a luxurious spread of house-made hummus, roasted eggplant, peppers, charred cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, olives and pomegranates drizzled in olive oil and zaโ€™atar herbs. The sweetness of the roasted vegetables complements the nutty hummus and they go really well with the toasted sourdough bread - so good๐Ÿ˜!

There are some things that feel no less comforting than a warm hug filled with love, and the brews at @theglasshousesg certainly fill my heart with such joy with every sip of that delicious and creamy nuttiness. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ž

This place is packed even on weekdays , so try to visit during off peak hours if possible, in order to enjoy their relaxing minimalist decor with a cuppa delicious brew! Their mushroom toast also looks extremely delicious and popular, I've gotta try that for myself the next time too! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒˆ

This cheesecake was light and fluffy, and not really creamy like other basque burnt cheesecakes. I really liked how well the crumbs and jam go with the cheesecake. The crumbs give a crunchy bite to the smooth cheesecake, while the berry compote adds a sweet fruity flavour to it. Everything blends really well together.

The coffee was quite aromatic and it is not the fruity kind. I prefer this kind of coffee beans.
