I’ve been wanting to try this for so long and finally!!! Noodles spelt with the most complicated Chinese character. Didn’t disappoint, loved the the chewy texture of the noodle, and the flavours in this were just delightful. I thought it would be too oily, but the sauce and the spice was delicious, and the flavour and texture of the pork was just right. Personally, the noodles were too big and wide for my mouth which made it a hassle to it but it really made it an experience to eat. I would come back to try all their other handmade noodles because I really loved the bouncy texture! Also really affordable :)

Biang Biang Noodle ($7.40)
⭐️ 4/5 ⭐️
🍴Hidden gem for chewy, thick, hand-pulled noodles from Xi’an. Choose from among 5 ingredient combinations and our 3-in-1 featured tangy tomatoes, creamy scrambled egg, marinated pork cubes, and fresh greens.

The noodles one of the better textures around - silky with enjoyable chew and bite. Choose your own spicy level by adding in the addictive crisp fried chili bits and chili oil. Tossing everything together in the savory sauce was highly satisfying and slurp-worthy.

📍Biang Biang Noodle, 01-518, 190 Lor 6 Toa Payoh, Singapore

($7.50) Decided to try their noodle since I did passby before but it's quite interesting noodle to see for first time (I think that just for me only). I felt that their noodles was quite smooth but slightly thick texture in some part of noodles. I opt out for non-spicy as sis just recovered from flu and sore throat at that time. But the meat was quite nice but they give me only pork skin and fats :") only (not much meat inside).

The deep fried laziji is a huge hit! You can taste the chili and peppercorns quite prominently and the batter is amazing. You’ll lose track of how many pieces you’re popping in your mouth!

My favourite dish to order at Chinese dining places! The spice had a much more fragrant kick here than the noodles, every cube of tofu was super addictive. Gravy was thick and serving size just right to share with 2-3 people, if you’re getting other dishes.

Huge, carb-heavy portion of biang biang noodles that is bound to fill you up so please come with an empty stomach! Worth what you’re paying for at $8.70 and the spice has a slight kick, though not as much as I’d like. Just take note that the noodles are thick (think mee hoon kueh) but also long like regular noodles so they can be a bit tricky to eat. Best not to wear white!

Worth a try is also the Braised Pork Belly Burger! Super juicy and tender pork belly piled in a well-baked bun🥯. Had it while it was still piping hot and it was so comforting🤤. Food that may seem simple but done so well. Highly recommend to try if you're in the area🤩!

Tried Biang Biang Noodles today, a Xi'an specialty and we loved it☺️! These are long, thick and broad noodles mixed with tomato egg🍅, vegetables, pork and some chilli. We especially loved the texture of the noodle, as it was thick and chewy and the sauce just coats so well on the broad noodles, super nice and flavourful🍜!

Take note this is the one pax one, there's also a 2 pax one which is the more prominent one on the menu

It's passable, not nearly intense enough. There's also a lot of potatoes, much more than chicken pieces(tho they were enough)

Somehow i have to admit it's a bit addictive though, not very sure why. Also something interesting is that these 3 things:noodles, ckn and potato seem to harmonise extremely well, when I take a bite of only 2 of them I need to chase it with the third otherwise it doesn't feel complete

Chili absolutely sucks though, noodles werent very good either. It's stuck together and a bit hard, not the mention the shape is a pain to eat.

If you must order this, ask for knife shaven noodles as the experienced customers do. A lot easier to eat

First time trying Biang Biang mian and totally enjoyed it. It’s like a more chewy version of ban mian. Only complain here is that the noodles were thick and long hence it’s really hard to eat with a pair of disposable wooden chopsticks and plastic spoon.

Chanced upon this noodle shop and gave it a try since we were craving noodles that day. Do not belittle this bowl of noodles as it is extremely filling. The handmade noodles are really nice and chewy. All the ingredients were cooked with various spices and it added a different depth of flavour and aroma. Do add in some of their homemade chilli as it made the noodles more tasty! Overall i would recommend this dish so do it give a try!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Pork belly slices were thinly sliced, didn’t taste super fatty / sinful bc of how thin it was. The sauce wasn’t very spicy, just a bit of heat. Cucumbers were thinly sliced too, pretty tasty. I only had a slice of pork & cucumber bc I was so full from the noodles, but I wouldn’t mind having more if I had more stomach space, it’s a pretty decent side!

The biangbiang noodles were the THICKEST I’ve ever had, some parts were pulled nicely and had that wonderful chewy texture. But the other parts were not as chewy and qq. I opted for no chilli, and the sauce served was similar to oil spill noodles, but it didn’t feel as oily 👍🏼 The cubed pork was flavourful, most pieces were nice & tender even tho they were lean, but some were a tad dry. The tomato eggs were tasty too, tangy from the tomatoes and the eggs were not overcooked! There were blanched xiaobaicai and the bowl was topped with fresh shredded cucumber, scallions and minced garlic. A very filling bowl - I gave a big pile of noodles to my bf but I was still stuffed. Overall, pretty pleased with this! Comparing to huangtudi xi an delights at clementi, the noodles were slightly nicer at huangtudi but the ingredients here are muchhh better - huangtudi’s eggs and meat were not to my preference. Tho the best noodles to me are still those from restaurant Aisyah, hands down.

None-spicy Claypot rice noodles (S$6.50)
Great for the cold wet weather. The 2 meatballs were tiny and dry.

Cumin burger @ $5.50

It's really full of cumin flavouring, wish there's a little bit more layers of flavouring to it. Maybe cuz the first few bites were just the meat and it's a bit monotonous. It got better when we got to the parts with more ingredients.

There's also the braised meat version which we will try the next time, also cuz this one is a bit too dry.

Will be back to try other flavours of the noodles here and also other dishes.

Qishan noodles (soup base) @ $5.50

The chinese name says that it's supposed to be spicy and sour and indeed it is. The broth tastes super good and the noodles are cooked to our liking and of great texture. Love that it comes with a good amount of meat and veggie too.

Will be back to try other flavours of noodles and dishes.

Signature biang biang noodles @ $6.50
3-in-1 version that contains tomatos, eggs and pork

It's a tasty bowl of food, my only complaint is that the noodles are too big to be scooped up properly to put on the spoon, so I ended up putting my face into the bowl to scoop up the noodles. Already got the spicy version but continued putting more chilli into the bowl throughout the meal which also makes the food even tastier. Love the amount of meat and veggie as well.

There's also the 2-in-1 version that comes without the pork at $5.50. Which I think makes the 3-in-1 version super worth it.

Will come back to try other flavours and dishes.

virgin experience but heLla amaZing???? got the 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐧 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟔.𝟓𝟎) and i rly love the noodles!!! it’s like a fat ban mian with a doughy-chewy texture that hits it just right. on top of the noodles is slothered some pork, egg and tomato sauce. never tried such a combi before but was absolutely delightful. also this shop is located on some food street and everything looks super good wuhu excited to come back :-)

Sadly the roujiamo was less good this round with less filling and flavour with the bread being too dough-y for my liking 😪
