Lazy lounging and indulgent brunches at @wheelersyard 🚲💙🚲 are what holidays are for! 😋🍔

Really liked the juicy wagyu beef patty with char grilled bits and runny onsen egg, but it got a little cloying at the end since I was having it by myself... 🙊 I didn't add in the sauce, which I felt wasn't as rich and smoky as I had thought it would be. Overall, it was a yummy burger, but for about $25 a pop, it's a little pricey for a beef patty vs a regular good ole steak.

Luckily I had the 1-for-1 promo by #burpplebeyond so all was good! ✌🏻💓💓💓

Just when I thought I found my favourite french toast at another cafe down the street, oh my here comes five oars to beat that hands down. Its creme brulee complete with the caramelised layer atop a soft brioche, like how you would spread jam on bread. Ingenious.

Focused not only on the minimalistic yet elegant aesthetics of the swanky lobby lounge, I was also there for the cafe’s healthful menu of Asian-influenced rice bowls, salads, broths, and sandwiches. And if clean-eating is your thing, Clan Cafe’s Kakiage with Genmaicha Broth ($15) is ideal for Meatless Mondays!

Piled on a base of mixed grains, the small hill of asian mushroom medley and assorted tempura-fried vegetables - kale, okra, murasaki imo and aubergine can be enjoyed on its own or soaked in the deliciously earthy genmaicha stock. But both refreshing and delectable, I would strongly recommend having the savoury broth alongside so as to give the polished dish a boost with its pleasant roasted flavour. Guilt-free with none of the expected greasiness; the unadulterated sweetness of vegetable was able to shine with the thin, light and crisp batter too. The surprising pops of colour and tanginess from the kimchi added great contrast in texture and taste as well.

Finished with frozen pomelo for that added zesty freshness, it is a refreshing appetiser which cleanses and opens up your palette before diving into the rest of the dishes.

WHAT ON EARTH IS MOLTEN IN HERE?? THE ACCOMPANYING WHIPPED CREAM IS IT 🤬 but anyway the ice cream was quite good and the mains other people ordered looked quite promising so I might come again for food but for never again for their desserts.

Iberico pork loin from 🇪🇸 is served with some lightly cooked squid 🇯🇵 and a fried croquette made from braised pork trotters
.
The cook on both the pork loin and the braised then fried trotters was perfect. The loin in particular was very succulent with the little fat cap on the top perfectly melty without being greasy. The dish is served with a slightly tart and very rich mustard sauce which was delicious, onion jam as well as a clear pork dashi broth on the side to accompany the dish. A superb pork dish 👍

Have u ever tried dining in complete darkness? Now I can say I have. As one of your senses is made redundant, your taste buds senses become more sensitive.

The food we had was very flavourful, we had a fun time trying to identify the food we had at the end of dinner.

Very very expensive though

Great experience, but I may not return again due to the price of this place.

Total damage for two(with cocktail package):$340(after gst)

RM103 (basic) which comes with prawns, sotong, lala and fish head. You may top up for other fish selection such as tilapia, snapper etc. .
.
Add ons such as foo chuk (RM8), mushrooms (RM10) etc are available but it's a little overpriced based on the portions given. .
The level of 🌶 is of NO joke. It ranges from 0-9 and we are can feel the 🌶 at level 0.5 (half of 1) already!!! .
Generally the taste is great for those who like sour+spicy. A friend of mine ate 3 bowls of white rice with this! Try out their giant plate at the price of RM288 if you're in a large group. .
⚠️Beware of the yellow 🌶!!!!

8 bite sized sushi rolls filled with cream cheese, avocado, jicama, cucumber and tamago topped with unagi, tempura crunch and red roe!!

rly love rollie ollie for their rolls bc their rice is always moist (in the best way possible) and they r pretty generous with their ingredients! all the fillings complement each other so well, eg the creaminess of the avocado, crunchiness is the cucumbers, and the tempura rly gives it a different texture! the unagi is grilled perfectly bc it’s tender (and plus point for me bc the sauce was rly good as well) :~)

wld rate this is 8.5/10 or taste IF ONLY it wasn’t slightly pricey (its 14.95) i’ll defo have it more often!!

The lovely bitter tones of this flat white was the perfect partner for their cakes. With just the right amt of milk to take the edge off.

Medium grilled. Tender and juicy, served with all the right sauces garnishes. Too busy eating to notice the garnishes.
