Returned to try both their braised and vinegar pork Trotter. Generous serving of meat, plus an egg each.

It’s very value-for-money!

Also tried their Pig’s Organ soup whilst I’m here. It was ok, but not fantastic. Fair amount of pig liver and stomach and some pork slices. I wouldn’t order this again if and when I return though. I’d likely their Pork Trotters.

Came to try their Vinegar Pork Trotter. I’d say for the price $7, it’s rather good portion of meat which includes an egg too. Although I found the vinegar gravy a little watery.

Now this is a very homely version. Significantly different from restaurant versions which have more of a bounce, this was mushy(not in a bad way). The salted fish they use is also a very nostalgic flavour to me, again very different from the restaurant ones. If you've never had Chinese home cooked food do order this to try, otherwise it's not particularly stunning

Btw every side dish has soft peanuts apparently

Standard is consistent, heard someone ask for lu rou fan no lean meat no fatty meat lmao.

Not the first time I'm having this but abit annoyed with some people's opinion. This is an intense bowl, with every sip impressive. This isn't light or clean or homely. If your mom can make something like this I'd love to meet her and book a private dining lol

Also it's refillable and it's an utter sin not to refill here. If anyone knows a better pig organ soup please comment
