a bit too overly sweetened, and as mentioned in my prev post i feel the bun tastes a bit stale these days
This time I tried Cheese,Coconut,Egg mayo,
Salty bean and Yam.The bun is soft, with quite generous filling. I like the salty beans the most.
๐ฐ$1.6 for each loaf.

Bread soft and moist.
Buttery and sweetness was just right.
Buns I usually eat are dry, but not this.
I tried their cream cheese and sweet potato buns on my first visit and everyone love it. The bread here is freshly baked daily in batches of loaves with 6 bite-sized buns. The bun is so soft and chewy with a very smooth texture. It comes with a myriad of different fillings and not too sweet, well suited for the young and old. What's best is they are priced very reasonably considering the quality and location.
Cream Cheeseย ใ$1.90 / 6 mini
Sweet Potatoย ใ$1.60 / 6 mini
We got yam (6 mini) , curry (6 mini) and otah (2 bun) on another visit and they are equally good. A newfound place to get some cheap and good buns.
Curry - Coffee - Kaya - Chocolate
Curry/ Butter sugar (not in pic) is our top pick!
I tried the coconut, sweet potatoes and kaya. I heard they have 15 different flavours ๐. I love the sweet potatoes most ๐
๐ฐ$1.3 for each loaf.

This was still hot. Not bad when it's hot, the bun is slighty more pleasantly chewy than normal and the yam wasn't as sweet as Kaya. Otherwise really not a super noteworthy place

๐ฌ: not the worst cake I've had, but also not one that I'd want to repurchase

Raisin Sugar ($1.60)

I never knew how affordable the buns here were! A rather unassuming shop without much fanfare, Bunnies is one of those typical bakeries that you would walk past without giving it a second look. Only happened to try them thanks to a group buy order I had. Offering a wide array of options, you'd be spoilt for choice here. Be it curry, kaya, red bean, yam, egg mayo, you named it, they have it! Think, the old school buns that used to be all the hype back when I was a kid, where bakeries sell them in an aluminium tray of 6. Boasting the same soft, fluffy texture, these buns were also slightly sticky to the touch, just like how I remembered them to be! Priced affordably at $2 per packet, the bread was packed with ingredients but I do wish they serve it in slightly bigger portion ๐คฃ
The crust is so meh :( Okay theyโre quite generous with the filling, and even though I can taste the salted bean flavour, there was not much fragrance. Itโs good that itโs not too salty tho, since they give a lot of filling. Tasted nicer towards the end but my initial thought was okay Iโm never getting this again. My dad told me today that he liked it?? Maybe because itโs pretty light in flavour, doesnโt taste too sinful
Bread was superrrr soft n floofy, to the point that I was afraid of squishing it if I held it in my hand. The red bean was not bad, with an acceptable amount of sweetness. Coco filling was nice, it was rather joosy. Would repurchase if Iโm in the area! Also, itโs very value for money.
Got this from Bunnies outside of People Park Complex. It is freshly made on the spot with a lot of flavours provided. I choose chocolate flavour ๐. Super soft bun and have this old school feeling. It is only cost $1.60 .
Got the peanut and sweet potato to try this time around! They were out of red bean, yam and coconut when I got there around 12pm. Saw the staff were all busy packing for big orders so maybe that explains why the options weren't that much haha hopefully next time will get to try other flavors :)

Price: $1.90 for 6pc Mini Cream Cheese Buns (Joint)
Good as usual. The idea of making them mini/bite size is so that you can share? But Iโm not sharing mine with anyone. ๐

Price: $2 - 2pc Otah Bun (Joint)
One of my favourite bakeries! Good and affordable, with generous fillings.
The otah is a little spicy, just the way I like them!

Cream cheese filling here had a tang to it, which reminded us of lemon cream cheese. Breadโs fresh, soft and fluffy, but we found it a little too sweet overall and would have liked a creamier texture to the cheese. Will get the other flavours next time!
