Seriously the last time I came here was so long ago, before COVID time. Today I found the reason to grab my quick meal before a show nearby.
Found out about this stall called the Hokkaido Ramen Ezokura. Went for their tonkotsu ajitama ramen. Flavourful broth with tender meat and soft boiled egg.
4.5 ⭐️/ 5
Got the Spicy Miso ramen. I really loved the flavourful broth which wasn’t too spicy, which was great. The ingredients in the ramen were generous as well. Do drop by because you won’t regret it at all!
There are other food options in the area as well so you’ll definitely be spoiled for choice.
Thin, wavy and slurpy noodles in a bowl of rich, umami and creamy Tonkotsu broth. Decorated with savoury marinated egg, succulent cha siu with a good amount of fats, black fungus, bamboo shoot, negi and a large piece of seaweed. Topped with fried garlic & a bit of shichimi.
A comforting hot bowl to warm the stomach.

Very tasty, did not regret getting the full sized bowl with all the toppings included. Will come back again.
Simple and taste nubbad. If you’re just looking for a place to take a quick bite of Japanese food!
3⭐ Redeemed WB JPassport 1 for 1 birthday deal. We had the cold soba with tempura. The soba sauce is quite salty and there's better tempura upstair at Tempura Tendon Tenya upstairs.

3⭐ Redeemed the Jpassport Birthday rewards 1 for 1 deal. There's 4 outlets to choose from: Natsume, Maruya, Maruki and Teppan Do. We decided to have the pork katsu and ebi. The pork katsu is mediocre while the ebi is considered smaller in size compared to the one we had at Ma Masion Tonkatsu.

Thick and chewy dry ramen noodles served with mild spiciness of minced pork, soft boiled egg and chopped vegetables.

The newest creation - WARABI MOCHI IN A DRINK⁉️Located at @orchardcentral, B2 @hokkaidomarche, (Besides Don don donki) @melpot_sg offers a wide range of japanese sweets has just opened it’s door on 21st December 2019. Tbh, I’m pretty surprised by how pronounced the hojicha flavor is here and it carries a lingering roasted aftertaste too. As for the soft, chewy-like warabi mochi, it compliments well & adds extra texture to the drink. Insider tips: the warabi mochi is sweet, so you can actually opt for a less sweet OR no sugar drink ☺️🍃

PS: Heard from the lady boss (i assumed) that they are revamping their menu soon. Do drop by and give them a try ☺️

My go-to place place for cheap and good tonkatsu set.Quality and taste can totally compete with bigger brands restaurant that also
serve tonkatsu. Love the bunch of salad and the sauce, makes eating the tonkatsu less sinful cause of the large amount of veggies that comes with it, lol. Best is there is no GST and service charge.
From Yakitori Tsuyoshi; Originally from Asahikawa, Hokkaido.
Irresistible and satisfying pork rice bowl $13.50 only.
Let’s go eggless.

Ajisai Special Ramen - $14

Simple bowl of ramen with clear broth. Comes a couple slices of char siew and a runny egg yolk. The taste of yellow noodles is too strong for my liking, just some personal preferences

Chicken Katsu Curry, $12. Spoilt for choices in Hokkaido Marche, we decided to settle for this Chicken Katsu curry with rice. Curry is very thick and fragrant just like authentic Japanese curry.. Chicken Katsu is well breaded before deep frying to golden brown. Freshly fried to total crispiness on the outside and juicy tender! We scrap till the last drop of curry.

Pork cutlet was fried till crispy and covered with well cooked egg. Rice was covered in sauce thou not really enough for me. Nice.
The squid sashimi was fresh! It was smooth to the palate but not sticky. That’s how you know if it’s fresh. Even better to boot if it came with a lingering sweetness. But this fared well, as with the quality for the remaining toppings too. The salmon sashimi was at the very least creamy in your mouth ( good indicator of fat content and freshness :))
Micro greens add such a refreshing touch as a palate cleanser.
Also enjoying how you can gauge the amount of sauce you’d like for your bowl.
8/10 (this promotion makes the deal a worthwhile meal)
Ramen in chicken and pork stock. The ramen and chasu were average but the clear broth was very comforting!
Next up for $10 nett again, we have Buta Don with Miso Soup from Yakitori Tsuyoshi. Check out the charred slices of pork meat, served with that perfectly poached onsen egg, gently set upon the rice.
The char siew is so tender and yet flavourful, having absorbed all the goodness from the tonkotsu broth. It’s pretty lean and so the fattiness of the meat isn’t visible from these slices. With that said, you can find tiny pieces of fats floating in the broth, but in all honesty, without them, the broth wouldn’t be as deliciously tasting.

Springy noodles and perfect soup base.
Opt for this if you are in town and craving for something soupy on rainy day! I went for the “original” flavoured ramen as I wanted to try the authentic taste before going for other options the next round. I believe if they can’t even get the basics right then the other flavours will also not be better lol.
But it hits my expectations damn right! And also all of the high notes of my tastebuds LOL
