Ma Seung Sek is also another food stall serving proper meal here. The grilled beef can choose to go with either the black pepper like mine, or the special spicy sauce.

Chewy texture with black pepper sauce, generous portion for one person. Accompanied with salad so you won’t feel too meaty or oily.

For those who prefer a non-spicy version, Ma Seung Sek also serves the same tender sliced beef in a sweet and peppery black pepper sauce!

If this is still too spicy for you, they also sell winter melon tea and chrysanthemum tea for a buck to soothe the tongue numbing heat!

Tender slices of beef in a tongue numbing signature spicy sauce - that's what you get from Ma Seung Sek's stall at the Burpple x Safra wellness festival.

We liked that every dish was made to order and came nice and warm. Cooking out of a stall probably meant that they couldn't use a gas stove. However, we were impressed by how the beef cooked over an induction stove turned out. Word of caution: it's really spicy!

Burpple Food Street has returned again, this time, its at the newly Opened SAFRA Choa Chu Kang.

Burpple food street is Located at SAFRA level 2 at the futsal pitch.

Choice of Signature Spicy or black pepper.

The Beef was soft and tender, and the spicy sauce made me hoping for a bowl of white rice to go with this. So spicy yet so tasty.

I was sweating buckets eating this.

Should have grabbed the crispy mantou to soften this spicy punch to my mouth.

Also avaliable at this stall are packets of herbal tea @$1 each. Choice of winter melon or Chrysanthemum.

We loved their rendition, which has excellent wok hei / breath of the wok.

The wide flat rice noodles has absorbed the soy sauce stock, completed with wispy egg, crisp bean sprouts, and tender moist beef slices. Bursts with smoky grainy savoury salty meaty eggy sweet vegetal flavour.

Can see why this is popular.
