Nice indonesian beans, good service, large counter but sadly no seats! Liked that the coffee wasn’t too sweet, barista says they are applying for seating space which is great cos it’s a little awkard otherwise if you just wanna hang out long enough to enjoy a cuppa. Good size at 300 ml

Tanamera Coffee brings you the very best specialty coffee Indonesia has to offer! With them, you can always expect a brew that’s full-bodied and intense—perfect for a caffeine fix if you’re asking us.

This place is consider much hidden because you can’t find them on social media. But you should passing by this place if you are using the bridge to cross the road from Hong Lim to China Square.

Serving authentic Indonesian foods in this nostalgic decor. There’s a few officer workers having their lunch here when I was here, which they only open during lunch time for a few hours only a day.

Their lunch set available with few options of meats, vegetarian available as well. My first try is their curry chicken which I find it super creamy and tasty as well.

The rice portion was sadly too little for me. But the chicken meat is good enough. The set also allows you to get one side and one vege.

The one I have is the fried beancurd and traditional veg soup. The soup was surprisingly appetising.

You get to choose either the white rice or turmeric rice as well.

A perfect spot during lunch time, considering the space is chilling and quiet.

Rendevous is my favourite nasi padang store ever. Having ate here back in the 90s when they were located at Rendevous Hotel. Fell in love with their curry and rendang ever since.

Having come here multiple times, I have never tried their Fish Head before.

The Assam taste was very "Strong", sour and spicy. The fish head meat was also fresh. Rather huge for $23 and its rather filling.

Although this was good, I still prefer their korma and rendang curry chicken.

Overall this place is really overpriced, there's good reason why there's only 10 groups in the entire restaurant on a weekday dinner. We spent 28 per pax before this beef was charged

The Rendang gravy was pretty good, even if mildly spiced. Pleasantly surprised it's different from the ckn Rendang gravy, although there are definitely similarities. However this dish is rightfully not highly recommended, because the beef is tough and dry. It's not absolute cardboard though, palatable with the good gravy

Their most expensive ckn? And for good reason, it's not your strong Rendang but somehow it is very addictive, well balanced and thick despite being not too strongly seasoned.

Worth a try if you're here alr

Their curry is quite thick, rather mild and on the sweet side. Not particularly special, and again really severely overpriced

This tastes like chicken cooked in normal sayur Lodeh broth, crazy overpriced

The sotong is abit rubbery, still acceptable. The sauce is not a sambal, some peanut based sauce that's quite thick, quite fragrant. This is worth a try if you're alr here

The rice is quite fluffy but the brinjal chili is what's unique in this picture. It's got a sour smell that's not particularly good but its mild body brings some heat which works well w their other mild offerings

My favourite Nasi padang shop.

Fell in love with their curry since I first had it in the 1990s.

Curry thick and flavourful.

Chicken soft and tender.

Have returned many times.
