Crispy prata, lovely curry… So gooood must try

First time trying out spring leaf prata and we were rly amazed at how crispy they were. Wanted to eat at rail mall’s outlet but it was rly crowded. Anw the egg prata was rly huge (the rectangular one)! Both egg and plain prata was super crispy, something you can’t find outside. Got both fish and chicken curry and we thought fish was the better choice. Teh Tarik was not sweet too

Anw we bought vouchers on shopee during flash sale (10 cents each for 3 items), super good deal!

Really reasonable prices here for the quality of prata they serve! Pratas were also super crispy and toppings were generous. Curry was also delicious and went really well with the prata. Teh tarik was good but the iced one was slightly diluted. The hot one was comforting and was a good complement to the meal.

Today is V day. I cant believe writing a love letter to springleaf prata instead of my V.

Late for morning openings - waited 7mins before they opened their doors. Waited another 30mins for food (i was the second customer, the first customer only ordered for a family of 5, 3 kids). I ordered 3 pratas too...

Had another group of aunties complained about the cold tea and had the tea remade. The tea came back cold again... they told the waiter don’t bother changing liao lol.

Yummy Maggi goreng! Good for a a late night snack

One egg and one plain prata , and one Alfredo mozerella chicken prata! Really good with crispy outsides and chewy insides. The mozerella cheese is really good!
Comes with free flow curry sauce too.

One of the better kept secrets in Clementi is this #NasiPadang. I found the beef rendang I had for lunch to be full-flavoured tender and still juicy. It goes well with the sambal goreng and the sayoh lodeh (and makes the overall meal a little more 'plant derived'). The bergedil is just a recurrent weakness of mine. Hehe, hard to go no carbs with goodies like this. They were pretty generous with the sambal tumis when i asked for it.

It cost me $7.50 for this 'the works' lunch. $15 in total cos I lunched with an old schoolmate!

When you are next at Tian Tian Chicken Rice in Clementi take a look at the adjoining Nasi Padang Stall. I have not been disappointed yet here!
