Love this gem of a dish, the beef rib soup is so rich tasting and filled with lots of vermicelli and beef ribs! (Many places usually miss on the taste of this, so I'm glad to find Yun Ga which has nailed it). Plus, it comes with all the banchan and ice barley tea, which is amazing. Highly recommend the lunch deals here (~$18)
Pretty authentic Korean BBQ restaurant run by a sweet Korean couple who were very welcoming. While the interior of the restaurant is bare and less refined than other established or franchised K-BBQs, the quality of service and range of ingredients makes it well worth the price and experience. This is considering how even on weekends and public holidays, the dinner buffet is still affordably priced at less than $30++ for an adult. You get the usual meats β from pork belly to short rib, as well as marinated ones such as spicy and black pepper marinade. Almost everything youβd expect from a K-BBQ restaurant, you have both cold and hot sides as well β kimchi, japcha, chicken wings, Korean pancakes, and tteobokki. Drinks are an additional charge, but they serve free hot tea at the side, where customers can help themselves. Crowds and the need for reservations attest to Danjiβs label of being a crowd favorite, despite being located in the mildly inaccessible Tanjong Katong area. So remember to call early, especially if you want to come as a group!

Danji Korean BBQ is opened by Korean owner serving up great meat buffet to satisfy all the meat lover. Not only that, they also have cooked food, vegetables, fruits and sauce section.π
With 2 Hours limit of dining time, it was a non-stop cooking and feasting of food. The time was just right for having a pleasantful meal.
The grill plate is huge and the heat is good which means you can cook many item at once without overburning of meat. Cooked pretty fast too.
Their marinated meat were tasty and flavourful. Got chicken, beef, pork, seafood like fish, squid and prawn. Standard vegetables to pair it with meat.
Got to love the free flow cheese, eggs and butter here which was not commonly found in most kbbq.
As for cooked food, the chicken soup was hearty. The Pa Jeon was delicious and not too oily. The bossam pork was fatty and chewy but can be more tender. The ganjang fried chicken were pretty normal.
Overall, tastisfying moment.

This was pretty good. Kimchi flavour was apparent with tiny seafood bits in the pancake. Couldnβt really taste much seafood other than bits of octopus but the flavour was there. Still, a bit pricey for what it was and was hoping that I could have had more seafood in this!

Decent army stew with ramyeon noodles, luncheon meat, ham, sausages and beans. It was pretty flavourful, and I liked how the beans gave off a pretty earthy taste.

Spicy tofu stew was disappointing. Diluted, bland, and overall lacklustre in flavour. The spiciness was not strong either, plus it came off a bit weirdly. Did appreciate the decent amount of small shrimps, clams, and tofu in the soup though! But I probably would not come here for my spicy tofu fix.

cheap and easy, good ingredients and sides
Very value for money but note that some items are not available during lunch! Would pay a bit more and go for dinner the next time.
Yun Ga has kbbq sets that are more price competitive compared to other kbbq places. We got the samgyeopsal set which came with a soup, steamed egg and kimchi fried rice. The serving portions were large enough but I guess quality truly comes at a price because Woori (which is across the road) is better though we pay more for it. It's still pretty decent if you want to eat more and spend less though!
This kbbq place is run by a very hospitable Korean couple. While the place is very simple, the food feels like an authentic Korean taste, especially the side dishes. The place is not that big so better to make a reservation before coming in.
Came for my usual army stew but found out it was taken out from the menu temporarily so we had refreshing and springy naengmyeon to help cool us off on a hot day! We also got a Soft Tofu Stew which was a good contrast to the naengmyeon, hot and spicy while very flavourful and comforting as well. The Kimchi Pancake was ok, just that I would have liked it more crispy. It was still a satisfying meal and I hope army stew will be back!
