Many kinds of foods could be chosen. The restaurant is clean and the ingredients are relatively fresh. Nice

Dine in the sky at Sky22, located within Courtyard By Marriott Novena.

They have recently launched the Sin-Ma Set Dinner, which comprises of a delightful fusion of Singapore’s and Malaysia's rich food cultures. From the tantalizing Penang Char Kuay Teow to the savory Beef Cheek Rendang and locally-sourced Changi Ikan Sumbat Sambal, each dish is a burst of flavor and tradition.

What makes it even more special is Sky22's commitment to sustainable practices. With locally-sourced ingredients and cage-free eggs in every dish, they're not just serving food, but a commitment to the environment.

For set of 2 ($42 per person), it consists of 1 Starter, 2 Mains, 2 Desserts; whereas for set of 4 ($38 per person), it consists of 2 Starters, 4 Mains, 4 Desserts.

These dishes are more than just food; they're a reflection of our diverse culture, blending Chinese, Indian, Peranakan and Eurasian influences. Whether you come as a couple or a group, Sky22 invites you to share these familiar, comforting flavors and create cherished memories.

Had their Signature Lunch Set, which includes Starter/Soup of the Day, 1 Main & 1 Dessert of the Day. Pretty worth it! 💯
.
For starters, I had the Mushroom Bruschetta, which features a hearty slab of sourdough 🥖 topped with a blanket of melty mozzarella cheese 🧀 & mushrooms slices 🍄. So good!
.
Couldn't resist having their Steak Frites (+$6) 🥩, a ~180g of Australian Black Angus sirloin 🐄, mushroom, chips 🍟 & green peppercorn sauce. I suspected they would overcook it so I ordered medium rare; true enough, it came medium 🤣. Texture was good though - tender & not too chewy!
.
Ended the meal on a sweet note with their Tiramisu ☕️🍰, accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream 🍦 with cookie crumble & topped with candied pecan nuts 🥜. What a sweet treat! 💗

i got their lunch set - soup of the day, main and dessert at $22++ and this was such a steal! absolutely loved their salmon pea risotto, not a fan of peas but i devoured every bit.. this was perfectly seasoned and balanced, rice grains were cooked well and the salmon remained juicy despite the skin being very crisp!

The Wildberries Fudge Brownie was also dry - drier than it looks. My dining partner & I struggled to finish this, not because we were super full already, but this was a really dry brownie. Vanilla ice cream was plain, nothing to shout about.

Overall, unfortunately disappointing. I'm just glad the appetizers & mains were much better.

I'd probably come back here again on a regular week - & just skip the desserts.

Unfortunately, the desserts we chose were both disappointing....

The Sticky Date Pudding was served with fig jam & rum toffee, neither of which were sufficient to salvage the dryness of the pudding itself alongside the coffee crumble bits. The coconut ice cream was the only saving grace, but this shouldn't be the highlight, really.

This photo really doesn't do the Sky22 Tiger Prawn Laksa Lemak any justice. It arrived as a hefty portion in a large bowl... & chilli paste is served on the side, which is great so you can customize how hot you want this to be.

Ingredients are fresh & plentiful - just look at that thicccccc tiger prawn. The usual suspects of dried bean curd & fish cake can be found inside as well. The only "difference" from tradition would be the use of quail eggs, which I find quite cute. & they were thankfully not overcooked with powdery yolks.

Overall, a good bowl of atas laksa.
