Perhaps because the price/quality ratio is good for a Michelin * restaurant, it was mainly a ‘expendable’ venue: the other parties were respectively an ‘account review’ session and an ang moh business lunch, and ours was courtesy of a bank! Never mind, it was still a very good experience!

The worse thing about Nae:um is that it’s extraordinarily difficult to book a table. The fusion food is exceptional, lots of French influences but still retaining a Korean soul. Excellent service by friendly staff. Michelin got it wrong again: Nae:um deserves two stars!
This dish is so pretentious for a result that’s only ok, and a price that is well beyond its quality. Don’t let mediocre chefs play with superior ingredients - what a waste!
