First time trying a vegetarian zi char. Had the Olive fried rice ($6) and it is really fragrant. Ordered the salad prawn too and surprisingly tasted like really prawn meat.
Really like it and will come back for the other dishes
Peach Gum Cheng Tng 桃胶清汤
First impression was so many ice cubes. Really need to dig for the peach gum which was in really tiny pieces. No feel.
The meal came with limited edition Baby Hoon Eco-bag and Ang Bao.
Razor Clams & Scallops White Beehoon 鲍贝扇贝白米粉
Slightly heavy handed on the salt.
Double-Boiled Chicken Soup with Cordyceps Flower 虫草花清炖鸡汤
The chicken was served uncut and without scoop. Asked a staff to cut it up who told me to tear myself with spoon. Yet I could see one staff cut it for another customer. Quite double standard of service.
Steamed Halibut Fillet with Ginger Sauce 姜蓉蒸比目鱼件
Beware of the many many bones in the meat.
Fatt Choy Shajing Oyster with Mushrooms and Broccoli 发菜沙井蚝冬菇扒西兰花
The serving looked particularly small.
旺福满家 Blessings Set (S$228++)
Made reservation online with S$100 deposit paid, yet need to find table myself. Table was not setup in advance. Waited more than 45 minutes to be served the first dish. Had to remind the staff. Other customers who came after me were served first.
Dragon Fortune Abalone Prosperity Toss 龙凤吉祥鲍鱼捞起
The abalones looked quite sad.

(S Size - $9.90) Up to 1 pax for S Size. I felt that it was too spicy for me already and barely taste for scallop tbh.
(M Size - $14.90) Up to 2 pax for M Size. We felt that the gravy for white beehoon was slightly wetter and thick texture compared to the last time got slightly dry and less thick texture. They didn't added scallop inside the dish previously and I believed that they enhanced the dish already.
($13.90) My sister felt that the sauce for sambal lala was slightly wetter and thick texture than the last time she tried it out was slightly dry and less thick texture.
($15.80) I felt that the gravy on the tofu was slightly too much and thick texture. But their tofu was well deep fried.
It’s decent zi char, the chicken is quite juicy and tender, the bee Hoon is normal. the service is good, and portion is quite generous.
Can drop by if nearby.
💰$12 for chicken (half) and $5.8 for bee Hoon (small)
📍Happy Village seafood.
