My quest to find decent yet affordable lobster rolls in Singapore hasn’t been easy, with many ranging from $35-$40 onwards.

So I was so glad to find this one at The Refinery as part of their weekend brunch menu. At $28, it’s not super cheap but yummy enough for me to be willing to pay for it. The lobster was fresh, and mixed with the mayo and other ingredients (onions?) in the buttery roll, it was really tasty yet surprisingly light!

If I ever needed a caffeine boost, this signature Coffee Baller by @therefinerysg is IT!!! ☕️👍🏻🥛

A potent espresso ice ball slowly melted down with warm milk, it's definitely a great perk-me-up with its smooth velvety texture! In fact, it was so good, I ordered a 2nd cuppa milk, and the latte that resulted was still intensely creamy and strong! 😱❤️❤️❤️ Gonna be back again for sure!!!

“The Epic” Beef Gyudon with Foie Gras ($25)
.
This may seem pricey but with a generous portion of fine sliced rib-eye topped with truffle hon shimeiji mushrooms, an onsen tamago and a thick slab of pan-seared foie gras, the bowl is seriously satisfying. Consider sharing this as the portion is large enough for 2 to share and derive sufficient satisfaction whilst still trying other dishes on the menu.
